since studying psychology, and working as a counselor, i cant help analyzing people and situation, i have also become very good at using reverse psychology on other people, also i find myself reading people's body-language, i even have friends asking me what certain types of body-language means, and 9 times out of 10 i'm usually right about a person from first meeting them, my friends think i'm psychic....is there anyone out there who has any special abilities that they cant explain, and if so what are they?.

The Dragon

Deep in the caverns of my used to be
Resides a dragon of immense proportions
Along the viaducts of my existence
It wanders back and forth

In the hallways of my mind
I hear the screams of its victims
The dragon feeding and feasting
On those who cross its path

Burning flames cauterising pains
Sealing scars of slashed memories
Talons digging into flesh and bone
Ripping apart the the long dead

Deep in the caverns of my used to be
The dragon sleeps dreaming of escape
Hibernating till summer arrives
Slumbering in the corners of my used to be

Strange question I know, but I ask it for a reason...

Success breeds contempt, and in musical theatre we feed off that fact. Over the years there have been a lot of shows which achieved great acclaim on Broadway that have earned backlash for being so popular--the current trend in jukebox musicals is a good example of this.

Personally, although it was the biggest of all musicals, I loathed and despised "Cats." Dreadful musical, set plots back 20 years (and please don't respond to this just to defend "Cats". I am aware I am in the minority on this opinion.)
However, "Cats" ran for 17 years on Broadway, broke all manner of records around the world, and is now an icon of American musical theatre.

So, the question begs: which massive musical rubs you the wrong way? Which must-have best-show fills you with inertia?? Which "Les Mis" is your personal Kryptonite? Does "Wicked" leave you wasted? Which Tony-winning show left you asking "what the %u@% was that all about?!?"

I find it unbelievable that theists blame satan, lack of God etc. etc and atheists blame God. I blame Me. Now what can I do in my own little world to change what is wrong? Be nice and use your "intellect.'"

Jean Kerr once said: Young people wishing to become actors have an addiction only slightly less dangerous then heroin.

Hello out there all you drama junkies!

If you work in the theatre in any capacity, what or whom influences you the most in your theatrical life? Actors, what event caused you to choose this path? Singers, whose performances stole your soul away to the theatre? Dancers, how many of you remember the first moment you realized you were a dancer?
Technicians, what keeps you coming back for more? Costume designers-Edith or Adrian? Set designers, when did you decide to make everything work? Lights and Sound, who let you in on the secret? Directors, which show convinced you that you should be in charge? Audiences, what performances left you feeling transcendent and spent?

If American people are rated ''normal'' at an average of IQ100 how are we supposed to rate other races, with entirely different mores, policies, and cultures? Based on what? By whom? And, if people like Condolezza Rice are supposed to have an IQ of 200, or more, why aren't they doing more?
