How can people say thugs are all bad? do you know what it is like to have to eat rice and corn bread every day for years and have a mom that is on durgs and she does not even care if you die. And a dad that is never home and spends all mony on beer and drugs. And when he is drunk and hi he hits you. So that is why so many go to the street to become thugs. And every person does not understand. Now do you still think Im trash?

I don't know but here is the thing, I unnderstand a thug but why is it so hard for the thug to change his ways once he has paved his driveway with gold that he just can't seem to give up those thugish ways? I have eaten out of garbage cans before myself and you want to know what? I don't sling dope and I bust my *** doing crappy work in a crappy factory, it would be so easy for me to just sell drugs, I understand thugs, thugs are boys who never grow up and take the easy way out, and as long as they choose to be thugs, that is all they will ever be is a child who can't hack it in the real world, I see so many women staying with their little thigish children/babies/daddies and it makes me sick

It is still your choice. You could have gone to school, gotten an education and made something of yourself. Instead, you chose to become a thug that hurts other people (the very thing you hate about your parents). You chose to be like your parents instead of breaking the cycle. Worst of all, you use them as and excuse for your behavior. You don't want to take responsibility for your decisions and actions, so you blame your parents. At leas you had rice and cornbread. A lot of children in this world don't even have that!! You try to sound like a victim, but you are only a victim of yourself. You made the bad decisions. You chose not to better yourself. You are no victim. You are the cause of the problem. You are perpetuating the problem you claim to be a victim of. No, I have no sympathy for you. You made YOUR choice. Now you can either change it, or live with it.

Maybe because thugs use that as an excuse to justify their choices in life.
I think you don't become a thug due to circumstances.
I know a lot of people with bad home environment that went on to become righteous people.
They used it as an advantage.
They made a promise to themselves they would never be like that and took a go at it.
Life treated them bad but they never gave up and, in some way, they made it.
Abused sons became good fathers, daughters of alcoholic parents became good mothers.
Never indulged themselves!
Self-pity was never in their dictionary!

Sorry if I sound rude.
I don't really think you're trash.
I think you did bad choices and want us to feel sorry for you.
Well, I don't.
There's still time for you to go back.
Have faith in yourself instead of hoping it from others.

Wish you all the best.
Good luck showing you have it in you to make a difference.

I don't think that all thugs are bad people.
I just don't agree with your violent/wasteful ways.
I realize that mom and dad may not be the best in the world, but DAMN...why do you have to resort to being a...a...well, a thug?
Why can't you aspire to live a good and positive life...regardless of what your parents have done..regardless of what they are doing?
Again, I don't think that you are trash, but...by everything holy, stop acting like you are!

You don't have to be a thug just because your parents are. Granted, they are not the best influence and it's time for you to start looking elsewhere for positive influence. The youth centre, the school. And depending on your age, the boy scouts, the army/navy/air force cadets. Do something positive before your parents drag you down forever.

But if thugging means that you go out on the streets and do things that are harmful to other people for your own personal gain, does that make you any better than your parents? I don't think you're trash, but I think you need to think about your environment and how dangerous it can be, particularly if it involves guns and drugs. You're free to live your own life and do as you please until you start infringing on someone else's rights to live and do as they please.

Thug, by definition, is bad.
