You could also assume not hearing the inner self is equally as bad as not seeing the inner self.

But how do we learn the most from the outside world? By hearing or by seeing? Which one has more value and what sould be the priority?

Example: If one less person were killed in the Revolutionary War, would history be the same today? Would he have had ancestors that may have grown up to defeat FDR or John Kennedy or may have been a traffic accident that killed Lee Harvey Oswald?

You know when a person says, "You know what they say", who exactly are "they"? Where do "they" come from? How much do "they" know about us?

I tavel the world and I have settled in Hong Kong which I beleive is a safe place to live., it has a large multicultral socierty and they seem to get on with one another quite well, better than most countries I have visited.BUT there are one or two things that puzzle me. Very few people smile and no one eyeballs you.I always say a smile and a hello costs you nothing, I treat my fellow being as equile. I am no better than him or her and he or she is no better than me nomatter what there status. I respect each and everyone as long I am given the same respect. When I do meet others, after awhile they say < you are a nice person you are happy all the time ) I reply by saying, I am just an ordinary person and like to meet others., because that is the only way to make friends.
So when was the last time you smiled at someone you did not know and when was the last time you walk down the street and looked at other people and how many have done the same to you.
