He will gain momentary and deceptive pleasures in exchange for eternal damnation.
Luke 9:23 And he said to all, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. 24 For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it. 25 For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses or forfeits himself? 26 For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed when he comes in his glory and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.

Well, I'm the person who left love, feelings, etc. to gain more money, power, fame and to get higher on the social ladder. But my whole life I have had this set- that I would be unhappy, but I'd have other stuff. I am not sorry, because real things surround me and one gave me up on love, so, as a protest, I succeeded in everything else.
I know that I would be unhappy if I stayed at my hometown and did something ordinary, but now I'm very famous and that's a lot to me, one's gotta sacrifice.
There are times when I wish somebody was by my side, to hold me tight and never let go, put is that possible at all?
But then I remember that one can't have it all.
To conclude, I'd say that what u want and need depends on what person you are and what makes you happy.
And I'm happier with other stuff more, achieving my goals and dreams rather than working in a shop or sth and cooking for my hubby. I'd die if I ever have to do that.

Triple H is not really a bad wrestler. Actually, he is probably one of the best they have now. He has just become way overpushed. As you said yourself, I agree that he would have been a main event material even if he had not married Stephanie. But ever since 2003, he has started occupying more screen time than necessary. This complaint has been raised by various former WWE wrestlers like Christian Cage. Also, HHH has also remained constantly in the title picture, which resulted in many other desrving wrestlers like Kane and Christian to never get a proper title reign. Before 2003, when he was in DX, he was very entertaining because it was not always about the title. But after that, he has become all about the title. Triple H also has a bad reputation for pushing only the people with whom he is on good terms. eg Batista. Evolution was a perfect example, the group held all the title Raw at one time. In my opinion, HHH didnot need to be in a dominant stable once again seeing that he was already a part Clique and DX. I respect HHH for all that he has done. He has put up some great matches in his career, and has managed to be entertaining. But I only wish he would be more like Kane, Taker or HBK who are now concentrating on helping out younger guys and no longer hog the limelight, seeing that he is a veteran just like them. He doesnot need to exactly job to them like Kane. But he can still remain on the top even by pushing younger wrestlers. Look at Taker, he has lost to several guys in the past few years, but his image has never diminished. If anything, he has become the most respected veteran in the business, and is considered a locker room leader.

If a man gains everything, and lost himself, what good are the things he has gained because he himself would be lost, he would still not be complete in any event.
Life is for living, sometimes a man questions what is life about, i think it's about enlightenment, and blossoming in every way you can, because we all shine, we all learn through experiences, remember life is the greatest journey we are ever to encounter.

The question is somewhat vague. What does 'lost himself mean' -do you mean he becomes obsessed with possessions, a workaholic? A little more information would shed greater light on the question.
Maybe for the sake of his family, he sacrificed his life in order to give his family a geater future just a possibility even though him, himself, does not appear to be attached to them.

Actually he has not won anything, but continues to feel suffering of trying g to get more money, woman, children, possessions, power.
Life, is giving
Life is Love
Life is Compassion
Life is all that for all being without exception or preferences
Quest is negating our need to Grasp at the "ME or I"
Quest is negating our need To solely Cherish the "ME and I"
How?
easy make others your primary object of all actions without the need for self gain of any type, physical or mental.
Seeing everyone as being ones dearest friend, relative, mother, brother or sister.
Become beware of all your actions of Body, Speech and Mind
It works for me! My life changed beyond belief. Feeling totally satisfied in all conditions. Smiling into the face of adversity.

This would depend on what the man is aiming for.
Most people only live on the surface of life, with only practical considerations.
The question "What is life all about?" has no true answer because it is a personal question and your answer may mean nothing to anyone else.

I think this was some obscure lump from the bible, no doubt some religious fanatic will have a 'relevant' answer!
It goes some thing like this "What profit it a man if he gains the world but loses his soul"?
So if taken in that context I would certainly sacrifice 'soul'
(which is none existent) for the things you have listed, no gamble at all in my mind!!

if one won everything but lost oneself that it will be a BIG lost. the most important thing of one's life is oneself (in a positive way, i mean, not to be a selfishtic minded person). that mean one should make a better life for oneself (the life that would get oneself feeling good about it, a life so. that if he or she die at that very moment, he or she have no regret at all). that's what i'm trying to do. and it's not always about money and success in work only.

I would say that that man did not win everything if he lost himself. He did not gain the importance of winning. He should have gained the feeling of joy, thankfulness and the love of everything/people in his life.
