Even for philosophers, this is a little vague. Why is WHAT this way and not some other way? Shall we speculate?

Why is Yahoo! Answers this way? Because some very savvy people have put together a package that works.

Why is the world this way? The reasons are as complex as the world we live in?

Why is reason and logic this way? Ah, there you got me. Logic is the way it is because, logically, it cannot be any other way. That is called "circular reasoning," and it's the best I can do this long out of philosophy school.

The laws of cause and effect tie into the laws of logic and math, and run independent of subject. If A=B, then B=A is true for all values of A and B.

The earth was created and all things in it. Yet the direction of it was left to take it's own course, all things working in their respective ways, for or against each other. The way that it is, is simply the direction all things have steered it. Had anything along it's way been different it might have just as easily been another way. Who would you be if your father and mother had never met?

Romans 9:20 But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder, "Why have you made me like this?" 21 Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel for honored use and another for dishonorable use? 22 What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, 23 in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory--
