Because there is no God there is no sin, would there be a rise in murders, rape, incest, etc? Do you think that because there would be no sin there would be anarchy? I am writing a paper and need some points of view.

Starting a story?

I am re-writing a story I wrote a long time ago. I like the story a lot but I don't like the beginning.
In the beginning of my story my main character is writing in a journal. They are pretty much writing their life story up until the time that they are writing the journal entry. What is a better way to start this story?

Cause this is how it ends
Suburban street corners
Uptown bends
I saw it evolve once in a dream
Everyone I once knew
Came running at me as a team

The lot of them
Bolted in my direction
The whole of them
Came running for my affection

Just when I thought
It couldn’t get any worse
The group of them vanished
Leaving me with my original curse

So I remain
In the city
Crying
In pain

A place I remember
A place so bittersweet
This feeling of Suburban Nostalgia
Knocks me off my feet

Such a disgusting experience
I wouldn’t wish for anyone
But it’s pleasure and rush
I can’t live without
This place is revolting
Suburban Nostalgia
What an awful disease

The feeling that remains grips my throat
Clutches, Holds on, and grabs
Tighter then I’ve ever felt before
The air lets me know
That I have nowhere to go
Suburban Nostalgia
My pain is starting to show

I’m not ready to fall on my knees
I’m not ready to die
My love, My Pain
It Simmers, Subsides
Suburban Nostalgia
My final peace
Suburban Nostalgia
My final resting place

So this is where it ends
A place of reminision
This place that transcends

Does ANYONE recognize this book??? (PLEASE!)?

There was a book I read (must have been in the early 80's) that I LOVED! Of course I was an early teenager at this time. I read it one summer & it was about a girl who would swim with the dolphins. It is NOT "Island of the Blue Dolphins." This book made me want to be a marine biologist. Please help! I can't remember the name of it & would LOVE to find it again. If anyone can help me out in the least, it would be much appreciated. I didn't find the answer on Amazon...so I don't know. Probably something out of print now...
