If you were a slave building the acient pryamids, would you feel any sense of pride when the job was done, or would you be too bitter because you were forced to do the work?

If philosophers could be resurected, what do you think would be the most interesting pair to hear arguing a problem? Which problem and why? Philosophers can be picked from any country, any century.

Hamlet and Taming of the Shrew both employ the concept of a play within the larger frame work of the play. There is a name for that literary device. Does someone happen to know what it is?

I recently had bronchitis about 1 month and a half ago, and since then I have gotten most of most singing voice back, but I still cant get back to my normal upper register. I am a first soprano and while singing really high notes my voice either cuts out completely or a very airy sound comes out. It seems that sometimes when I dont sing for a couple of days, I can reach my high notes better. Does anyone know anything I could try like vocal warm ups or maybe I need vocal rest to get my upper register back?

Solomon tells us that the world will not stand up when wives are not loved, but will it stand up when so many millions of husbands are not loved? And if it will then why are the numbers of people depleting in nations where men aren't loved?

Personally, as a father-rights-activist, I don't care; better that not another boy is born than that one should have to suffer the abuse that men have suffered for millions of years.

Some of us newbie writers have a helluva time getting good work published, while appallingly bad work is published or filmed by others. My absolute worst movies are all Tarintino ones. Don't get me started on books.

I love to write. Even when I'm at work I write. I know I shouldnt but where I work sometimes it can get really quiet so I take that oppurtunity to write. My question is how do I get published? I heard that you need an agent first as sending your work direct to publishers is a waste of time. Any help would be appreciated.
