While it is true that God seems to be partial to some people (lucky ones), a lot depends on one's attitude to life. God could not have sent every human being with identical traits. It would have been something like an assembly line production. Even among animals, god did not create all members of a specific specie equal. Hence some people appear to have all things right in life while there are some who always find themselves unlucky. I will say 5% belong to former category and 5% to latter. A majority 90% do not belong to either category. Now it depends on those among 5% unlucky, how they take it. I know of people who always crib, curse their luck and point to lucky ones who always get it right. But I also know people among unlucky 5% who accept what they have and try to make best of a bad situation. Things also change with time. One of my close friends had been going through a particularly bad patch and used to confide in me. I used to tell him that it was a bad phase in life and it would eventually be over. He used to sarcastically say that perhaps the bad patch would be over after he was dead. That was about 10 years ago. Things started changing for better gradually. His children turned out be better than average in studies, passed exams with flying colours, got good placements, he himself got a better job & accelerated promotions and his family life changed for better. Today be agrees that if he was optimistic in his bad days, he could have better handled the mental turmoil he went thorugh.

So, be optimistic. Times change, and so do fortunes. Remember, a boy dropped out of school as he could not cope with the studies. He started something else. His name is Bill Gates.

Those are all things that everybody can notice about your friend. You obviously have a perfect life in another way: Some people have ALL the money in the world but don't have love! Some people have all the love they need but don't have money! Nobody is perfect and we are all great in our own individual ways!

God will only give you what you can handle!

i believe everyone has a purpose in life. and each of us is given certain talents and abilities to aid us in achieving our goals. besides, we can't really rate someone's life as perfect. how would you know? like the saying, the grass is always greener... everyone has her or his own capabilities and we should be content with it.
