Some of us newbie writers have a helluva time getting good work published, while appallingly bad work is published or filmed by others. My absolute worst movies are all Tarintino ones. Don't get me started on books.

I would have to say the worst are the original series star trek movies. I can't stand those movies, my brother loves them and watches them all the time. After having seen them hundreds of times they can really get on my nerves. As for books it would probably be any book by G.A.Henty. I have so much trouble actually reading one of his because they are so boring. They are all about history, and are written for guys, so that might be why they are so boring. I liked the movie Never Been Kissed, but I am a sucker for anything romantic. lol

Worst movie: Killjoy--about a stupid killer clown, that's not in the least scary

Worst book: I've not really read a bad book--I've read some in a series that I was like "well that sucked compared to the other ones" but a friend of mine said the worst book ever is "Ice Cream for Freaks"

Worst movie? Well, imho, Ella Enchanted. It's not even an inch closely related to the book. It's like a sappy cheap flick with badly cast actors and an uber-fake scenery. And books? Well, I wouldn't call The Hobbit, worst book of the century (no offense to LOTR fans out there), but it's kinda boring to me.

The worst movie I've seen is "Date Movie". The worst book I've ever read was a Harlequin romance called something like "Wild About Harry". I'm ashamed to admit that I've even read a Harlequin, but the only reason why I read it was because the guy in the book was Australian. (I think Aussie accents are sexy.) The sex scenes weren't bad, though.
