With the ability to watch war while eating dinner, seeing all of the horrors of war first hand, would we fight the same bloody battles today?

War doesn't solve a damn thing.

Imagine how better off we'd all be if instead of the US dropping bombs on people, they just used the same amount of dollars to purchase a new regime.

There are some belligerent countries.. so drop 1,000,000$ bombs on them? heh.... global capitalism dominates, I don't know any strong nation that would oppose it. So why beat around the bush nuking people, killing soldiers etc.. Just buy up all the antagonistic nations.. they're angry because they're poor and oppressed. Bombing infrastructure and families doesn't help that.

in a way we are, Sadaam has been murdering islamic kurds for years, comparable to the jews, there has been warring in the middle east for centuries, comparable to the fighting nations in europe, then al queda destroys the twin towers, comparable to pearl harbor, maybe if im lucky when im enlisted in two years i'll be able to storm normandy, hee hee, i made a funny.

We've already proved how fast we'll jump into a war once we're attacked on our soil......world trade center buildings and pearl harbor, got us Americans hoppin...at least for awhile.

Well, imagine what the world would be like if Hitler won. Could you live with that? I would definitely support America's involvement in taking him out again.
