Im getting some pictures taken and the photographer asked if i wanted a regulare portrait, personal portrait or an intimate portrait. whats the difference??

In the general world, there is no difference.

However, some photographers seperate them so they can charge different pricing.

A general portait would be more of a business style portrait. A few simple shots about 3/4 lenght.

A persona portrait series would be just that more personal. It would help pull out your personality.

An intimate portrait usually isn't erotic. It's more down to earth. probably some close ups, some more black and whites, a very relaxed and soft feel about the photographs.
