Could you help me with a dilemma I'm having?

I'm having a huge brainfart. There's a word I can't think of, maybe you know it?
See, I'm writing a story, and I'm filling out a character questionaire to help organize my thoughts. So it's like,
Name:
Nickname, if any:
And then here, I want to expand on that and say how the person got their nickname. I'd just put that with the nickname, but I want to stay more organized. but I can't think of what to call that part. Like, (blank) of nickname, that means the same as Where this nickname comes from or whatever. I think it might start with an "R," but for the life of me, I can't remember the word.
Can you think of the word that I can't remember?

Should I take the money from my mother?

Ive been married 15 years. I have kids. Our relationship with my parents is not good. My mother can be quite abusive. I did not speak to my mother for two years because of a situation in the past. My father always acquiesces to my mother. "She has to be the queen bee and will not change," he says. He bugs me all the time to forgive her and be the better person. Finally after two years my mother calls and apologizes. That is only the second time in my life she has apologized. I told her that I was bitter for all of the turmoil she caused me and my family.

Now, shortly after Christmas she sent me a check for a considerable amount of money. I don't know if I should take it or not.

I am willing to allow her to see my kids in a neutral location. I think that is the right thing to do. Limited visitation is okay. I don't want her to think that by giving me this money that everything will be okay or that she can do what she wants. It will not be.

Should I take the money?

Question for anyone who's been on a cruise?

My fiancee and I are trying to think of honeymoon destinations and we're talking about possibly going on a cruise. Neither of us has ever been on one so we don't really know a whole lot about it. Can someone tell us what kind of stuff we would look forward to if we chose to take one for our honeymoon, like the pros and cons of choosing a cruise? What was your personal experience like and would you do it again if given the chance?

I hear a girl singer doing WHITER SHADE OF PALE at Wendy's piped in OLDIES who is that??

Does anyone think like ME some songs NEVER sound good if not THE ORIGINALS?? And WHY does whoever puts those songs on that piped in music EVER think MAYBE the LISTENERS aren't THAT stupid. It's like CHEVY HUB CAPS on a FORD or vice versa.

Hair Color Help???

i really wanna do something with my hair.... like a color but only for highlights or lowlights... i kinda wanna do maybe black streaks or white...or what do you think would look good in my hair... it can be funky colors too i dont mind any suggestions! mercury vapor light to metal halide light question?

I had a mercury vapor light in my yard for many years. A couple of months ago I replaced it with a high pressure sodium dusk to dawn lamp. I cannot seem to find a metal halide dusk to dawn lamp. Do they even make these? Is there a way to convert a HPS lamp to a MH lamp. Or a MV to a MH lamp. I like Metal Halides because they are more energy efficient and bright.
