The bible was written by many but few of them actually were selected to be part of the bible we know today because it was edited to remove the parts that made Jesus look human but it still says that Jesus was 100% man and 100%divine so truthfully we can't tell for sure who wrote the bible when it was edited and altered by a group of men who weren't the original writers so how can we know for sure that the scripture written by matthew mark luke and john are actually the scriptures written by matthew mark luke and john the world will never know.

The Bible is actually a small collection compared to the full works. There are many Gospels you can choose from which have been purposely tossed to the way side (we know this to be fact now) and not just the ones the Catholic church wants you to pay attention to. The Gospels are nothing but a series of stories which were told to fellow believers in huge gatherings and eventually they were put to paper. It was The Emperor Constantine who chose which ones to publish (and slightly alter) in order to unify & ratify Christianity to make Rome its home in an effort to unify his people. Constantine is responsible for the document we have published today.

Men who were moved by the Holy Spirit wrote the Bible., but first came the Church, which Jesus Christ established.
The Bible was passed on orally, that was the tradition.
Though collections of sacred writings, varying in extent, existed in the various local Churches of Christendom, the canon or official list of Scripture was only compiled by the Church toward the end of the fourth century—at Hippo in 393, Carthage in 397, whence it was sent to Rome for confirmation in 419. The Bible may be called the notebook of the Church, and she has always claimed to be the guardian, exponent, and interpreter of it.

The Bible I am referring to here is not, the King James Bible...that one was written in 1611.

Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, etc. The cool thing is that the bible was found word for word translated into so many different languages. They wrote Jesus's words, some of them are quoted exactly and just made a written form of what he was trying to teach.

Who do you think wrote the Bible?

A number of different people - probably all men - who were inspired. Note that we do not actually know who wrote what although in a very few cases we have a good idea.
