I have a BIL 22 years old, and SIL 32 years old, that still live with their parents. My wife (their older sister) and I have put in new tile, installed cable, etc. mainly for my mother in law and not them, although they benefit also. Not only do they not help in any way, either financially or physically helping me install the tile or cable, or say thanks, but only make critical comments about how the things could have been done in a better way. I asked them one time if they wanted to help me and if not then I didn't need any of their comments. Didn't work. How should I respond to people like this, if at all ?

Since there are protien sources in the vegetable world, why bother with nasty tasting, nasty textured fake meat? It ranks up there with 'nearbeer' and decaf coffee. whats the point? I am not trying to be snotty, I have always wondered.

I am considering getting a M16 from either JG or ECHO 1. I have heard that JG and ECHO1 are identical except that ECHO1s have better gears and less FPS and JGs have crappy gears and high FPS. I want a more durable and long lasting gun, but the ECHO1 is $35 more than the JG. Is is worth it?

I think I have purchased a pom with bad genes. She came with AKC papers and a DNA verification but she is showing alot of bad qualities. Shes 9 week old and she has growled and really tried to attack my hand in the last few days- I ahve only had her 6 days now. My question is with professional training and obediance classes will I be able to "re-program" her to be a gentle loving dog that will not bite as a 1st reaction to something she doesnt like or since she may have come from a bad bloodline will I have to muzzle her and keep her away from kids for the rest of her life? I understand and know the differance of puppy playfulness and behavior- I had a pitbull puppy and she never showed this type of aggression.

Upgrading from a 64mb card in the samsung m610. Have formatted the card on the phone first then connected using both USB adapter & the media reader. Both methods do not recognize the card. It shows the drive D but nothing in it?

Seriously, Fruit as we know it is created by a tree so that it may contain seeds and reproduce, like all reproduction, because of the enevitability of death. If there was no death, things must have been totally different. It must have been like not having gravity, so trees could not have been hit by lightning and fall. Was there lightning back then? Was nature still nature without the law or theory of death like that of gravity? Is there is symbolic viewpoint of this subject?

I'm sure some of you have heard of this.

Aubrey de Grey argues that some people alive today will live in a robust and youthful fashion for 1,000 years.

De Grey's plans to treat aging as a disease -- and curing it.

De Grey wrote "Ending Aging: The Rejuvenation Breakthroughs That Could Reverse Human Aging in Our Lifetime."

What are your thoughts on this matter? It seems intriguing and actually plausible to think of aging as a treatable disease. Even if we can't extend to 1,000 years or such, maybe it could be to 150-200 years. For instance, if at one time in history, man lived to an average age of 30, would they believe today that we can live to an average of 75 and some live to be 100? And that's just with improving medicine and better overall care. Thoughts?

(Forget the fact about overcrowding the planet, what role religion/God would play and such, just focus on the idea presented.)

I tried to do AVG last night and then again today.......I don't think it took....nothing showed up on the computer (icons) and no e-mails were sent saying that I had completed it.

I am going to run out in about an hour and buy the norton anti-virus firewall and whatever else is on it for protection but it is around $75, very pricy......

Is there any anti-virus that I can either download off of the internet "for free"..................I don't want to pay for it off of the internet..............

If not, is there any more resonably priced anti-virus that you have had good luck with that I could buy instead of norton.

We own a family run mom and pop type business (pawn shop)...I feel bad when customers ask to use the bathroom, but it's just not practical, they may trip and it's near the safe, and customers pawns ...How can I tell people politely they can't use our toilet.??

I want to submit a pattern to knitty, and i wrote it and everything.
It is a sweater. I have a problem with takuing pictures- I am only in junior high, and i cannot show my face of anyone else's in a picture. I cant take the picture from far away, and thking pictures with my head cut off look funny. Also, I would not knit a sweater without seeing what it looked like on a person, so i expect that no one else would. the pattern and pics are dur in 5 days, do PLEASE HELP!!!!
