Hello, I know this is probably a no brainer, but I received a free round trip to travel anywhere in the U.S. except Hawaii and Alaska, and I was thinking about going to see Las Vegas. I am 27 year old man and I will be going by myself. I plan on visiting for one week in the summer of 08'. I don't gamble, so I was wondering what else is there to do? and should I consider Los Angles, San Francisco, or Seattle etc..? Please Help Me!

I was injured out of the state on active duty. I was found unfit for duty and placed on TDRL, now when i got my monthly check they did not take out state tax. Will I have to pay state tax on that money? (it was non combat related)

I ate some bread that had a little green mold on it and I didn't even know and I'm not sure if it will do any kind of harm to my body or if it will make me sick, should I be worried!!
I was fixing myself a ham sandwich yesterday and never noticed anything but I went to eat a ham sandwich today and I put the plate down and there was the mold on the bottom of the bread, I don't know if any of the mold was on the top of the bread or not, I ran into the kitchen and spit out everything I had been chewing, but the reason I'm scared/worried is I don't know if the mold was in the bread I ate yesterday, it didn't really taste funny that I can remember

my brother did not file his taxes last year. I am sure that he doesn't have to pay anything in. I have two questions: What will his penalty be? and he lost all of his w2's from last year. what does he have to do to get a copy of those w2's? Does he even have to get a copy of his w2's to file for last year. He says that he doesn't have to, the IRS has a record already. But this is my brother and he was stupid enough not to file last year. What does he have to do to file for last year??????? thanks for any advice

My first child is almost one year old and I am working on transitioning her to a sippy cup and also onto taking more solids and less formula. We're switching to organic cow's milk once we have worked on this current transition!
I don't know if I am feeding her correctly. She's quite picky and sometimes eats a ton, othertimes eating like a little bird. I have no idea if this is too mjuch or too little. Please tell me what you think:
One 8 ounce bottle around 6am (she usually takes about 6 oz)
Breakfast at 8 (usually baby oatmeal and banana or wholewheat pancakes and fruit)
A small snack (usually wheat toast with a topping like cheese or hummus)
Lunch (veggies and some protein)
Bottle around 12:30 (around 8 oz)
Small snack (yogurt or crackers), mid afternoon
Dinner around 5:30 - whatever we're having
Bottle at 7:00 (6-8 oz)
-She also take sips of water whenever she wants although she refuses formula from a sippy cup. She's not liking it at all!

I have dealt with heart palpitations for 8 yrs. I am 28 now. I went to hospital overnight recently for bad palpitations that were making me sweat. My chest x-ray was negative, echocardiogram-negative, catscan-negative, thyroid test-negative, and all bloodwork was negative except for my troponin level. It was a .11 and that is why they admitted me. They kept me for a day for observation and my heart rhythm was fine. I had a few pvc's they seen but "nothing to worry about" they said. Anyway, I was discharged with no answer to my raised troponin enzyme. It was a .9 when I left. I am now on 25mg lopressor 2x daily. The doctor says he believes nothing its wrong with my heart, but everything I have read suggests any raise in troponin signifies a heart injury. I am going crazy wondering if something is wrong with me. I see my doctor this coming Friday for follow up. I am going to demand seeing a cardiologist. Anyone ever have a similar problem??? Thanks in advance!

I have been married for almost 11 years, and we have ten year old twins.... I only feel like having sex about 3 or 4 times per week, but my husband wants it every night..... sometimes twice a night!!! I noticed this response from a poster

"Did you ever think about the fact that you'll never know more than your dad (or parents) if you do this? Really, you'll never get to learn anything more than they can teach you. At least at school you have several teachers, different perspectives, and lots of opportunities to make friends."

And I was rather dumbfounded by it. Would any of you brilliant homeschoolers write a response to this?

All I can say is how many times a day I am amazed at the things my children know that I never taught them!

I'm moving to the Tampa Bay area soon. I've heard that alligator tastes good - I've only met one lady who actually ate it and gave a very favorable impression. Tell me more...wonder if it tastes like rattlesnake (although I haven't had that either,,,)
