i'm 16 years old.
my family moved into an extremely small apartment with 2bedrooms in it about 3 years ago.
the only reason is because it's cheap and we can afford it right now because my dad is the only one working.

we all hate it.
it's in the ghetto, and terrible looking.
the paint on it looks like crap, we have no grass in the front, people throw garbage around it, our fence is old and rotten, the screen to the front door is torn and we get rats.
it is just gross!
and the landlord doesn't do anything about it.

i do appreciate the fact that we have somewhere to live, but i am just so embarrassed about it.
i don't like my friends coming over, picking me up, or dropping me off.
i don't even go anywhere because of this.
what can/should i do?
i know i shouldn't care, but i do.

I was in the Other-Beauty & Style section yesterday and there were TONS of pictures asking questions like "Am I pretty?", "Am I ugly?", "Am I hot?", etc. Today I came on and it seems that these types of questions keep getting deleted. Praise the Lord!! It's about time. My question is, are more people reporting these questions now? Why are they disappearing? I'm glad you guys are just as sick of them as I am.
I realize this question isn't that hard to answer but you shouldn't mind, easy 2 points and 12 for the one with the best answer. :)

My wife and I rent a really nice house but there's one glaring problem....ROACHES!!!! The tenants that were here before us were absolutely nasty. Anyway, we had an exterminator come out a few weeks back and spray. We've seen a noticable difference, but they're still around. The exterminator cant' come out for another two weeks but this problem is disguisting and needs to be solved now. Any over the counter products I can use BESIDES BOMBS (I have 2 cats and 2 dogs) that will effectively get rid of these things???

What are your opinions on the Torah (aka first 5 books of the Bible as the set laws) still have a large part/ still apply to Christianity today? Is it important (as in a necessity) in a Christian's life to still live according to these books?

I would appreciate only Christian's answers. I'm not asking anything other than opinion and lifestyle; therefore, there should be no need for conflict with the outside opinion.

First off, I have massive anxiety towards this disease...and was literally prescribed xanax to stop thinking about all of the symptoms. My problem, is that I immediantly think the worst and jump to conclusions very quickly.

I was sick for about 3 weeks, and was prescribed Cefdiner for the last week to try to calm this fear. My temperature never jumped above 99.2, and is currently 98.3. I had a sore throat for a while, and mainly what seemed to be a sinus infection. Cleared the antibiotic on monday, but now on my the side of my right thigh has appeared a very small reddish/purplelish rash that doesnt completely fade with the test (no pain). I dont have a stiff neck (have tried all 3 tests), headache, fever or no dislike of bright lights. My neck was sorta stiff for about a week, but it would always appear in certain areas, and vanish within hours probably due to stress.

Is this something I should be worried about, and contact the EMT or wait until morning to speak to a doctor?

Some woman posted a traumatic story of having to give up 2 dogs as they owned 6 and she stated state law only allowed a family to own 4. I don't know of any place where this is STATE law as she said, but I did find there is such a law in Haverstraw, NY. Are there other places with such a law?

I work for a pet store and I'm often needled with comments and complaints about our high prices on aquarium fish. I've asked my manager(s) about this, and they could only respond that "the price of the supplier increased, so we increased our price to make a profit". I've researched prices for the most commonly asked about species, and I've found that our prices are very close to competitors prices- some higher and some lower. My father and I discussed this, and he does admit that, while our prices aren't drastically different than what he "can get elsewhere", the price of aquarium fish, both freshwater and marine, has increased recently in the past year or two. I know that the price of market fish- cod, haddock, sole, etc- increased due to tariffs and trade restrictions in the UK and such, but what is the reason behind the spike in aquarium fish prices? Is it for the same reason? Or is there another reason I haven't come across in my research on the subject?

We have been together for 2 years and he is 19 and I will be 19 in 6 months. We live in an apartment together and we have been thinking about this for quite some time. We are financially stable enough to have a child, and his grandparents would move up to this area to help watch the baby. We have been thinking about having a baby for about 3 months now, and he just proposed to me, and everything just seems to be working out perfectly. I want to hear everyones opinion about this...I know its a lifetime commitment. I know what im getting myself into.
Here are some reasons why I cant wait much longer:
*My dad wont be alive for too much longer and he has no grandkids
*my bfs great grandma wants to live to see great great grandkids but shes not going to live much longer
* I want to be closer to my kids' age so we can have extra bonding

Those aren't all the reasons, but they are some. What is your opinon on this?

I was watching paranormal state episode 3 and it was about a family being harrassed by a demonic entity but when one of the family members say the demons name they bleeped it out. Throught out the episode it shows its name but really fast and i am unable to read it but i know there was a z, a,b, l, e but zable or ablez isnt it does anyone know what the name is and why they bleeped it out?

My husband is driving me crazy with his non stop gambling addiction, every time he hears we have a dime he has to take it to the casino and spend it. when i tell him we are broke he starts a rampage tearing things apart looking for money. what should i do to help him stop? he wont even think about calling a 1-800 number or even go to counseling, I'm so lost.

I know this is the wrong catagory, but I need more mature help. So anyway, to start off, I am not like other fifteen year old girls, I practically gag when girls say i love you to their "one and only." I used to be one, and beleive me it is not love. Yes, I have a cynical outlook on dating these days. Its not like I have a reason to be, I'm confident in my looks and I can take care of a man's needs. Needs other than actual sex. Too many girls with STDs at my school. Anyway, I stopped dating guys because I mean whats the point right, its high school, and it's not gonna last. But lately, I've started to like a guy in my class. He's funny, we laugh, yada yada yada.

The problem is I don't know how to act in a relationship. I mean I was a girl who had like a new boyfriend every month. I don't want that. I'm not very good at having a middle ground between mental and sexual attraction. And all my past relationships have been one or the other. Please, help, and no judging.
