Dress up (not slutty) and be comfortable with yourself. If your shy, you need to do some soul searching and figure out who you are so you can start being comfortable expressing yourself with other people. Then you can start talking to boys and flirting with them. And boys always notice girls, just make yourself available and approachable and you'll start getting nervous guys coming up to you with horrible pick up lines in no time.
