I was in the Other-Beauty & Style section yesterday and there were TONS of pictures asking questions like "Am I pretty?", "Am I ugly?", "Am I hot?", etc. Today I came on and it seems that these types of questions keep getting deleted. Praise the Lord!! It's about time. My question is, are more people reporting these questions now? Why are they disappearing? I'm glad you guys are just as sick of them as I am.
I realize this question isn't that hard to answer but you shouldn't mind, easy 2 points and 12 for the one with the best answer. :)

Perhaps they are going because people are tiring of self absorbed vain people. I sure hope so. If it is a picture and someone asking how to do something or whether to do some process to alter their appearance that is a valid question to me. The needy ones who want a touch of praise should not be there IMHO.

Best wishes and Happy New Year.

I guess once yahoo gets a convincing number of reports on such questions it deletes questions of that sort. I dont think its cos more people are reporting it. Only a yahoo guy who is working on this extension can give a definite answer.

I haven't noticed that those questions are being deleted, but perhaps they should be. The ones who post them must be either very conceited about their looks, or need more self confidence. So they're fishing for compliments or being needy, one of the two. I really don't know if those questions violate the community rules or not, as they really aren't being insulting, or otherwise breaking the rules.

I'm also kind of sick of them. I think that some people are just looking for attention, but I also think that some just need a little boost for their ego. Like the one that said that she gets teased because people think that she is ugly. I think that she just needed to hear that she was pretty for once. That is if she is telling the truth. I don't know, that's just my opinion.

Now I wish they'd just start deleting the questions asking about the 'am I ugly/pretty/a horse/' questions.

People want reassurance. Aparently thier mothers didn't give enough to them. But they can't get confedience from people telling u how gorgous they are or how hot they are. They have to feel good about themselves from the inside and then they will feel good about themselves on the outside.
Even though it is sickening for people to ask "Am I pretty?", "Am I ugly?", "Am I hot?" I feel sorry for them.

I hate those kind of questions also. People are so insecure about who they are and it's very disappointing that people are willing to put their photo of themselves on the internet for people to judge. Also I hate fishing through those questions to get to other people's.

You are not the only one who is happy about it! It's about time that they got deleted...

Yes, I noticed, and yes, I'm very glad they have been deleted, although I'm not sure if people are reporting them or the answers makers are just doing it themselves.

People ask this because they don't know the people who answer and they don't have to get a face to face answer.. a sign of low self esteem... which we already know they have if they're asking that in the first place.
