1.Insane Clown Posse. I agree. No comment.
2.Panic! At the Disco. I stayed away from radio when their sin song was played. I haven't listened to much radio since... But then again, I never have really.
3.Fall Out Boy. Overrated, overcommericialised bs. I heard that that Pete guy broke his wrist or something while jumping around pretending to play bass. BASS, I repeat, bass.
4.Paramore. Catchy riffs here and there though. But I can understand if it doesn't appeal to you.
5.Evanescence. Overrated, but okay.
6.Creed. This is why I stay away from "Christian rock". And the overall religion.
7.Avril Lavigne. Technically not a band, but good for entertainment. She's fun to mock. :D
8.The Jonas Brothers. Never heard of them.
9.Flyleaf. They're okay, not the best band in the world, but marginally listenable.
10.The Academy Is... I like one song from them. The only song that's not noise to me.
Of course there's much more bad music in the world, but right I'm thinking of Simple Plan and Good Charlotte. The obvious ones, I know, but they deserve to be mentioned.
Oh, by the way, I went to your profile and I like most of the bands you listed. (except for Limp Bizkit and Weird Al)

I'd drop My Chemical Romance from the list and that is because the song Teenagers proves they have what it takes to evolve and become a really good rock band, instead my list would include Bon Jovi. To me they are just lame. All that sentimentality is just worthless. Also I'd drop Avril Lavigne from the list (she does know how to craft a pop song properly and Girlfriend is really quite a wonderfully subversive song if you think about it) instead I'd nominate Gwen Stefani and No Doubt, how old are these people and they are still singing about High School?

ICP absolutely sucks...Evanescence is just over-rated, not really that bad...Fall Out Boy is over-rated, but definitely not the worst thing on planet Earth. Some of the other answers caused my IQ to drop though.
Why bother though with a top 10 worst artists list? People will simply just choose what's popular now, and in 5 years, they'll choose what else will be popular then. It's pointless.

I used to like P!ATD,FOB & Avril.
I Love Mcr (and yet they havn't saved my life and I'm 10) But now, like you said are almost only adored by preteens now and like 1/3 of the fan population only thinks of Gerard as being a member (aka: they freak out over Gerard and pay NO attention to the other members). Ray Toro, Frank Iero, Bob Bryar, Mikey Way.
Evanescence- I do like them though.
The Jonas Brothers- Ugh. They are the worst band EVER. And very annoying how like almost every girl loves them sooooo much.
Paramore- I just started listening to them. They seem pretty good though.
And the rest..well..never heard of them.

ok, good choices, but Creed is probably the worst.
No band has ever united the music community in undying hatred as creed.
but, also, Nickelback and Good Charlotte. Horrid wretched crap. Enough said.
The killers, too. Why, you may ask? Because the killers came around about two decades to late. In the 80's, they could have been accepted, and then forgiven for running amok with a synthesizer board and adding in lyrics with no meaning or interpretation. Now, they should have learned from that decade's mistakes.
