i'm in my first L-T relationship w/ a man few yrs older than me, everything feels right, we've not fought, together for almost a year. He has expressed he wants a future, shown me so indirectly. We always have a gd time together, we can talk openly about many things, he is so caring.

But,I feel he is un-intentionally unreliable, I've been patient but, it is irritating me, sometimes I feel I am there when he can fit me in...there are always things, like work or he is not feeling well - I know him to be truthful, I understand and let him do what he needs. While things have progressed positively,we seem to dance around each other, when we are together it feels right, we only have our good side to show.
Eg, he was waiting for me and i was waiting for him coz i thought he was busy to meet up and vv..

Are we too selfless to each other? am i selfish for wanting more from him and him to want more from me? should I just wait since it still feels new relationship? all views appreciatd :)

The father of a former neighbor passed away. In his obituary, it mentioned that instead of flowers, contributions could be made to several local institutions. I wanted to know what would be an appropriate amount considering not being a relative and not having even seen these people in years.

I know this would be bad, but fuel and power rationing is likely the only way to get greenhouse gases under control, considering the people that doubt the data. I would not want this to happen to anyone, but what if the gasoline ration was not enough (or just enough) to get you to work and back, what would you do?

How about power rationing? would it be prudent to put your electrical devices on power strips , and turn them off there to get rid of phantom power loads? Do you do that now (like I do) and want to tell the pros and cons?

Rationing sucks, but would it help?

Im working as software engineer earning 50K per month in India. I have working since 4 years. I am in love with a girl from 4 years. We to love each other. We decided to marry each other. When we spoke to the girl's father there was a strong refusal from. The reason for the refusal is the caste. We both are hindus but not same caste. Their parents are cruel and dangerous and they will do anything for the caste. They warned me that will kill my parents and me if i continue love with her. I am in very tensed situation from 3 months. Now the girls parents are searching for a boy to get her daughter married. So we have decided to marry wothout informing them. We dont have any other option, we tried to convince them a lot, but there is no use. The problem is what their reaction would be after the marriage. How can i stop them from harming me and my parents. I am in very tensed situation. please help me out.

This Cowboy is riding the range when he gets ambushed by some indians. They take him back to their villiage to see the chief. The Chief looks at the cowboy and says:
"You White man, you will die at sundown, but Chief is not as evil as white man, so you gettum three wishes.

" What is your first wish?, The cowboy looks around, thinks, then, with a gulp, say: "well, can i talk to my horse o' great chief?
"The Chief looks puzzled, laughs to his tribe and says "he-he, sure white man you can talk to your horse".

So the cowboy goes to his horse and wispers in it's ear, the horse looks puzzled, but then with bright eyes it gallops off in a cloud of dust. The Indians just sit and laugh at the cowboy for wasting his wish. BUT, all of a sudden the horse returns with a Blonde riding upon its back. The indians look amazed. The chief grins, points to a secluded Teepee. The cowboy now looks embarrassed, so he takes the blonde and goes into the teepee. An hour later he comes out and says, "Chief, can i talk to my horse again"? The chief says sure, but that be wish number two. Ok says the cowboy.

The cowboys goes to the horse and once again wispers into it's ear, and with a gallop the horse is off!... 15 minutes later, the horse returns, this time having a Brunnette aboard. Once again the cowboy is shown the secluded teepee.

An hour later the cowboy comes out, obivously tired now, with only a few hours left before sundown. He looks to the chief, and before he says a word, the chief grins and says "Sure crazy white man you can talk to your horse.."

So the cowboy goes to the horse and GRABS him by the ear and yells

"LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT,...I SAID - GO GET A POSSE!!!"

An Irishman named Murphy went to his doctor after a long illness. The doctor, after a lengthily examination, sighed and looked Murphy in the eye and said, "I've some bad news for you. You have cancer and it can't be cured. I'd give you two weeks to a month."

Murphy, saddened and shocked by the news, but of solid character, managed to compose himself and walk from the doctor's office into the waiting room. There he saw his son who had been waiting. Murphy said, "Son, we Irish celebrate when things are good and we celebrate when things don't go so well. In this case, things aren't so well. I have cancer and I've been given a short time to live. Let's head for the pub and have a few pints.

After three or four pints the two were feeling a little less somber. There were some laughs and more beers. They were eventual approached by some of Murphy's old friends who asked what the two were celebrating. Murphy told them that the Irish celebrate the good and the bad. He went on to tell them that they were drinking to his impending end.

He told his friends "I've only got a few weeks to live as I have been diagnosed with AIDS." The friends gave Murphy their condolences and they had a couple more beers.

After his friends left, Murphy's son leaned over and whispered his confusion. "Dad, I thought you said that you were dying from cancer? You just told your friends that you were dying from AIDS?"

Murphy said, "I am dying from cancer son, I just don't want any of them sleeping with your mother after I'm gone!"

As per the movie which I now know is true, the inner core of the earth is rotating at a speed faster then the eaths crust. Can it stop rotation? if yes, what will be its effect? Currently i only have one system fan, i checked to see where and how it is connected, its connected to a 3 pin connector right next to a larger connector which is the CPU fan connector. I looked for more of the same connectors but couldn't find any so my mainboard can only have one system fan?

I recently put some “I love my pet” flea rinse on my Chihuahua. I was wondering once I put the flea rinse in does it kill them and remain in the fur and I have to brush the dead fleas out or do the fleas fall out of the fur, dead? Because I found some flea eggs on the floor spread everywhere so maybe they fall out????
