I just took my driving permit test and failed and one of the questions were.
Should you stay...?
2 second behind a car.
3 sceonds behind a car.
5 sceonds behind a car.

I picked 3 sceonds because the book talked about the 3 sec rule forever and even told you how you know how many seconds you are behind a car. But it told me the correct answer was 2 seconds. Why?

Without a financial calcultor, or computer. Does anyone know the formula, really need for the exam. Wasn't given by the lecturer. Thank you.
The zero coupon YTM is par value divided by the present value price as far as I know.

A man walks into a drugstore with his 8 year old son.
They happen to walk by the condom display and the boy asks,"What are these dad?"
To which the man matter-of-factly replies,"Those are called condoms, son. Men use them to have safe sex."
"Oh I see," replied the boy.
"Yes, I've heard of safe sex in health class at school."
He looks over the display and picks up a package or 3 and asks, "Why are there 3 in this package?"
The dad replies, "Those are for high school boys. One for Friday, one for Saturday, and one for Sunday."
"Cool," says the boy.
He notices a 6 pack and ask, "Then who are these for?"
"Those are for college men," the dad answers.

Recently I have come across some difficulties with my daughter. She is almost 16 months old. She is very much above average for her age. Now she is starting to throw temper tantrums. She bangs her head on the ground and slams her body backwards, when you dont allow her to do something. I know she understands what no means but she does not care! She keeps doing it over and over even if it will hurt her. I dont spank so I dont know what to do. Do I need to spank her. Or how can I make her understand. She is dangerous! My other child was never like this. So I dont know how to make her mind. I need help now before she is out of control and really hurts herself. She is a great eater takes her naps well and sleeps for 12hrs a night. It is just when she gets a tanturm i cant make her understand not to touch. Please help my husband and I are at a loss with her.

I have a 70 acre farm in a small town. (not sure of population, graduating class has 50-80 kids) Not really a lot of violent crime, but I am worried a little that if it were to happen, I don't have anything more than a hockey stick or golf club to protect my wife and I. I was thinking of getting a 20 gauge shotgun or something small like that. What to you think?

I just got a PS2 and i dont have a memory card. i want to know:

1. What brand is the best? (or do generic brands work the same because they sell for less money)

2. How many MB or GB or whatever? (i have no clue)

3. do i need one memory card for each game or just one or two for all of them?

Why would you give your money to a pastor who only would use it to buy a bigger house, or fancier car or more expensive clothes and jewlery, when there are those who live on the street who can't even afford a meal. Why wouldn't you donate all your tithe to the needy and not to the greedy?

Like, I really haven't a boyfriend in a serious realationship in some years. I'm usually the one who breaks up all my realationships once, I get into them because the guys I usually date are jerks and I have no fling for them; I actually don't know why I don't give them a chance. My daughter is 5 1/2 months old. She woke up at 4:30 and threw up:( Since 4:30 this morning (it is now almost 11) she has only eaten 4oz of formula. She is constantly crying. Her temperature is 100.9. I have been holding her and cuddling her ever since she woke up but she just keeps crying/whining. She has been sick before, but she hasn't cried this much. I have tried giving her gatoraid so she won't get dehydrated but she won't drink it. I am worried she will get dehydrated. Is there anything I can do to make sure she doesn't get dehydrated, if she won't drink anything? Also, she is teething now. Could her constant crying be due to her teething or her being sick?

PS. My baby is not bottle fed... but what about the clear (potentially harmful) plastic parts that are on the . uh. breast pump that a mommy uses to express her milk? What about the water that I drink? (it's city water- oh- EW!) what about me drinking bottled water? now what? what is safe? please help!
