There are two possiblities here, both with the same answer.

Did this person give you the money for the Xbox, with the understanding that you would buy it for them? In other words, did you spend money that was not yours?

Or- did you promise to buy the Xbox for someone as a gift, but find that you cannot afford it right now?

Either way, the best policy is honesty. Either come clean about the money that you spent and shouldn't have, and make arrangements to pay it back, or tell this person that you simply cannot afford to buy the Xbox now, but maybe at some point in the future you can.

If you spent someone else's money, prepare to lose a friend.

That's very easy try getting a loan. There are tons of companies that do this and you just have to pay it back. Here's one place that does them http://freesignup.tv/links/24hourcash.htm
