i'm 6 months pregnant and have an umbilical hernia. was at the dr's about a week ago, he checked it then and said nothing poking through and that it was small. every now and then i'll have some pain (especially after a strenuous day). the last couple of days i've noticed my belly button getting a little red. no pain though. also my dr said i was almost at the stage that my uterus would be big enough to cover the hernia so nothing could get trapped there. my questions are, has anyone delt w/ this before? exactly when will my uterus be big enough to cover? and is the redness normal? i will call my dr next week. thanks

Don't get me wrong, burning is awful. No serial killer has ever tortured anyone longer or more horribly than god will torture those who choose the wrong belief.
But do you think it's the *only* way god will torture people?

I know several Catholics, in fact I married into a very large family of Catholics, but I have noticed very few of them follow the 10 commandments, in fact they have down right disgraced them. Do you think this is just coincidence that they don't practice what they preach? Or do you think it just gets noticed more because they are usually a very strict religion?

I am thinking that I would like to apply to one or more police services upon my graduation from school in the spring. I was wondering for those who may know better, on the whole, just how competitive is it to obtain a career as a police officer these days?

I'm graduating from university with an honours bachelor of arts with a major in English, I served as a reservist in the military for about four years up until the beginning of this school year. I tend to hear conflicting reports with some of the big city police departments being simply flooded with applicants while the provincial or RCMP are falling short of recruiting goals.

Generally speaking, if it is a goal to which I was committed, is actually obtaining a position somethign that could be very difficult ultimately, or are there good opportunities these days and with my level of education or experience will I stand up competitively?

Why? Why during Christmas? I hate when my cousins comeover. The always find 1 reason to make fun of me. I just watch 1 soap opera and they always laug at me. They say im horrible, suck, and they say im a loser. when i show em a new vid game i got, they make fun of it. I ignore them. Then theyre 5 year old cousin who also makes fun of me follows me. I dont want to tell him go away. I dont want him to cry. Whats a good way to tell him to leave me alone? plz no useless answers

Christmas Eve, (which is probably right now) my boyfriend and I have reservations at a fancy restaurant and after we might have sex. Then he's gonna take me back to my parents house. Obviously, I'm gonna wear something nice. So what can I do to avoid coming back looking all "flustered?"

Hi all,
Here is my dilema.
I got my first wedding band from my husband, then a few months later he bought me another one he liked. I thanked him and told him, that I will wear the furst one he put on my finger. He said if I want I can melt for something else. Someone told me something about suprstisious about having two wedding rings. Any info what that means and should I melt the second ring or should just keep it?
I woul be very gratefull for all your input.
