Now and days its normal because its seems as though shes not going to. (Not saying every girl wouldnt). But someone has to make sure she stays a virgin for as long as possible. It is part of being a parent to want to keep their kids virgins. We just want to keep them safe.

Not sure what you mean by that. Do you mean that if a boy is interested, you will read him the riot act?!

Calm down dad, sometimes guys who were disrespectful of girls when they were young feel overprotective about their daughters later. Hmm, is that a pay back?

Just be fair to your daughter, teach her to respect herself, be honest with her about what guys think and how they talk about what they do (exaggerate too). Do it in a calm, respectful way to her, so she will listen.

Studies have found that when a man is a good father, has a good relationship with his daughter, she will do well out there in the big world.

BTW, do you have a son? If so, remember to do the same with him. This idea that girls should be virgins and boys can be animals is wrong. Teach your son the same thing or you are a hypocrite.

I don't think it's even wrong for a mom to stand at the door with a shotgun to defend her sons' virginity. ;)

No, it's not wrong. It's just being a father.
