If not, then why don't you?

I usually don't bother with too much decorating. I have a small place and I'm almost never home for much time around Christmas. Since I'm traveling all the time, why bother to put up a tree only to have to take it down again. Besides, Christmas is not about the tree and presents to me; I want the time to spend with my family, even just hanging out with them playing a game, having a big family dinner... My parents & i go to Midnight services and sing all our favorite hymns (if we didn't sing them in church, we'll sing them in the car on the way home!), we spend the next day with all the family, the kids and everyone, and then spend the next day outside - whether visitng holiday displays or taking a hike (really!).

I don't put up a tree. I live by myself so I really have no need for one. It's just something I'll have to worry about taking back down. We never do any kind of Christmas celebration at my house, so it's not practical for me to put up a tree.

My daughter doesn't because they have a mastiff and he would destroy it.
