i'm 6 months pregnant and have an umbilical hernia. was at the dr's about a week ago, he checked it then and said nothing poking through and that it was small. every now and then i'll have some pain (especially after a strenuous day). the last couple of days i've noticed my belly button getting a little red. no pain though. also my dr said i was almost at the stage that my uterus would be big enough to cover the hernia so nothing could get trapped there. my questions are, has anyone delt w/ this before? exactly when will my uterus be big enough to cover? and is the redness normal? i will call my dr next week. thanks
