If someone is harrassing you and making verbal threats to you over the phone (via calls, texts, etc) is it possible to get a restraining order? And what if they live in a different state. It is harrassment, i am sure of that, but, would it be worthy of a restraining order?

I have just set up a saltwater tank today and i put my hydrometer in the water and it read 1.018. how can i get it to the right level (1.020-1.0300)? also what do i add to it to get the level right? the pH kit also came with a carbonate hardness powder but i don't know what to use it for. could someone please help me??!!!

My Boyfriend and I have been together for three years and have known one another since we were 12 years old. Well We were engaged which I called it off cause he cheated, thinking he would stop the games I stayed with him. We have been through everything with each other. Well I had a guy friend whom happened to be black and since my boyfriend was ignoring me and pushing me away i started building a stronger friendship with one of my guy friends. Well one night I had told him I couldnt talk to him anymore because of my then fiance, he started telling me how he felt and to be honest I loved him as a friend but nothing more. Well the boyfriend went through my phone when I forgot it and found out bout me telling my guy friend I cared for him. Well he went nuts, he threw it in my face that he was going to ask me to marry him again tonight at 12:01. I have broke down and I dont know what to do. I love him and care for him, but not sure if its worth fighting for. I'd like some advice please.

Most specifically, that involve being on boats. I'm not really looking for something that's science related, more like cargo, or shipping or something. My reason for wanting my own money is/was to buy An XMAS gift. My sister, who is a Jehovah's Witness denied me my right to buy myself an XMAS gift because of her non holiday celebrating beliefs. And I feel that isn't right. Is what she is doing illegal? She has the right to deny me money bur for her religious beliefs? I would think that wouldn't be legal but I am not sure.

Okay I just got my first reptile. She is a Leopard Gecko morph and the breeder said that she was born on the 17 of October. So she is still very young and only weighs 14 grams. Anyway, my friend also got a leo as well, however hers explores its surroundings and plays in its tank. Mine however hides 24-7. The only time she ever comes out is maybe for 5, 10 mins top at some point during the night. I know she is a baby and I've only had her about a week, however I'm afraid she is being to reclussive and antisocial. I've gotten her out and she will let me pick her up and she will eat food(when she is hungry) when I offer it. I'm sure I'm just making something out of nothing, but I don't want to end up with a gecko that doesn't do anything exciting. I mean thats half the point of having one, is watching them thrive in their environment. Anyway, my question is, basically, do you think she will "come out of her shell" as she matures and becomes an adult. Thank you for your time!

My Mom is always inviting her nephew over. He always come during the weekends, when my married sister is with her husband for the weekend. All he does in the house is eat then leave. On some occasions my mom let him sleepover. At first, I was okay but now it is getting annoying. To me, he is a freeloader in the house(eats then leaves). He has his own house, why can't he go there? How can I tell my mom that she needs to stop inviting him over and over?

Both of my sister's agree that my mom got an "obsession" with her nephew (he's about 30'ish).

P.S. My father is out of the house because my mom found out that he is cheating on her.
