This morning, I received a Christmas card from a guy that used to be my friend a very long time ago, but not anymore. The thing is, I always knew he wanted more than friendship, but he accepted that we could only be friends. However, I had to end our friendship when he became very obsessed and clingy towards me. He also used to send me text-messages telling me that he had no reason to live, except to look after me and he needed me to live, etc. I got freaked out by it and had to end our friendship. I thought I was free of him now and I've been happy since, but this morning, I received a Christmas card from him and it's made me feel really uncomfortable that he's still thinking about me.

What should I do? Bin the card and ignore it or post it back? I really just want him to FORGET about me and leave me alone. I wish I'd never met the guy. I wish he'd just leave me alone. My best friend and cousin are supporting me but even they can't do anything.

What's the alternative to booze?

I tried to give up drink and was doing very well. However, I feel I need something to chill me out in social situations etc. Is there anything by prescription I could take to replace the drink? Drink makes me aggressive and I doing want to lose my girlfriend. Is valium, or similar, a possible solution?

Is 'there are no atheists in a foxhole' the real reason for religion to keep hatred going?

It is often quoted her by religious people on this site which suggests that they love it.
Are they only religious because of fear?
Have they no real and fearlessness reason for believing in God? Are they only believers because of the carrot of afterlife?

Why do people love Jesus?

I thought it was because Jesus was very good to people and preached GOD to make one a loving humanbeing.
How good are you as a Jesus follower? Have you forgotten what Christ is all about? Why do you support killings and bombing of fellow humanbeings? Does this form of support for war makes one a true christain/evangelican? Or is this Jesus/church/evangelican thing just a brainwash? Why do Jesus followers invent/invest in weaponary?

UFC & MMA full of untalented drugged up fighters?

There is a movie called Smash Machine which is based on a UFC fighter. Within that movie it shows drug use (injections) and it appears UFC doesn't care about the health and wellbeing of its fighters.

This is disgusting... so do they even do any blood or drug testing to protect the fighters? can fighters compete if they are HIV positive?

MMA appears to be more or less the same... if Brock Lesnar can compete in MMA then steroid use is legal.

The reason I say untalented is simply because they need their painkillers, growth hormones and steroids to compete.

Feel free to defend my comments in a constructive way... right now neither of them deserve to be mainstream until the sport becomes cleaner.

Should i tell him?

Ok so there is this kid that attends my high school. Hes not the best looking guy but hes good enough for me. I've known him since we first started high school and now im in 10th grade. We are friends and i have a class with him. Though we dont speak to each other a lot. Just a conversation every other day. I really like this kid and i want to tell him but when this other girl i know told him that she like him last year he just said pain out no to her and said he was sorry. I dont want to get rejected by this kid. For that is one of my biggest fears. So should i tell him or should i just keep it to myself.
