Good Point, they don't see that God is above all, and it does not matter what they say, it doesn't change what God already stated, what will happen, you can't make something not be true simply because you refuse to believe it is there.

The Heavenly Father never changes as He is who and what He is. We are His children and He loves us. An earthly king could care less about you and I or anyone that he doesn't know. That's make makes the earthly king human, but God came in human form just to show amazing grace by dying in our place. The two are not even on the same level. People have always wanted to change others and it never works.............but they will still keep trying because they are human. My King in Heaven doesn't need to prove a thing and CAN change minds and hearts if one is willing. +
It might be possible to change an earthly king but never the King of Kings..........for He is God!

I don't think that mocking someone or something will make it change. However, your premise is flawed. When earthly laws are flawed, they do eventually get changed. By my recollection, its been a long time since anyone in Rome was fed to lions for not believing. We haven't had any "Witch Trials" in years. Earthly kings change laws all the time. The ones who don't are called "Dictators" or "Tyrants"... which is not what I think you intended to compare your God to.

If you mocked an Earthly king, you might receive a visit from a few tough guys in black suits.

However, this statement is true:

Galatians 6:7 (NIV)
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

Earthly kings have been mocked over and over and have been overthrown when their laws wer unjust. In the case of your deity, I don't know how much more unjust you can be than waiting 200,000 to 3000 (depending if you trust the evidence or the writings of a bronze age people) years of human history to reveal his plan of salvation.

He does not need to change anything that he has never had.

Jesus ask us to do one thing. Love your neighbor.

All the rest of the silly rules are for those who can't figure that one out.

Love and blessings Don
