I am going to Russia - St Petersburg to Moscow Dec/Jan and need to know what clothes to bring. Obviously warm clothes, but would 'normal' UK winter clothes suffice? Is it better to have numerous layers or just one good jumper and good coat?

I live in Knoxville, Tennessee and a box was sent to me from Boise, Idaho on Dec. 7th. by ground mail. It was sent to a P.O. Box and I checked this morning and it still hasn't come.
