I mean, look at his numbers (ignoring wins and losses) and compare them to the rest of the league in 1999 and 2000. People knew he was great, but I don't quite think they realized how great:

I mean, he had a 1.74 ERA when the league ERA was 4.91 and the SECOND BEST ERA in the league was 3.70! That's insane!

He set major league records in 2000 for lowest batting average allowed (.167) and lowest WHIP (.737). No one even touched those numbers in the dead ball era, and he did it in one of the biggest offensive eras in history.

The only drawback is that he pitched just 213 and 217 innings in 1999 and 2000, respectively. But when you consider the eye popping rate numbers, the smaller strike zone, the lower mound, juiced up opponents (I'm assuming Pedro's clean, though you never really know), and the fact that he started half his games in Fenway Park, you gotta appreciate how great he was.

Since gravity is the fabric of the space-time continuum, the universe has a distinct point of origin. An infinite gravitational singularity that appeared about 13 billion years ago. It is a validated fact that time and matter began then. Some do not except this truth and postulate elegant mathematical equations to describe an eternal universe without a cause. Many would rather believe the universe is a natural construct that has always existed, then to believe in an eternal everlasting God.

I am simply trying to figure out what's wrong with my car without playing a guessing game and wasting money. Everything else on the car is the same and runs ok except for the fact that I have a deceleration/power loss issue. I'll be driving any speed, highway or local and all of a sudden the car feels sluggish, engine light comes on and that's when I know I have to pull over because the battery and oil lights will follow and the car will be on but have no more will to go on. I got an oil change, replaced air filter, put in a fuel injector cleaner, it has nearly a full tank of gas. Fuel pump and fuel filter were changed 2 years ago, could they need to be replaced again? I stopped driving it a week ago b/c I couldn't depend on it, but now I need my car back. And no I don't have money for a new car so don't even suggest it! Any knowledgable ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!
