Mix a little bit of salt and water and gargle with it. Do this 1-3 times a day, especially after meals. That sucker will be gone in like 1-3 days...

To help prevent cankor sores take one L-Lysine tablet daily, my out breaks went from every few weeks to months, I haven't had an out break in eight months. When I have a cankor I apply table salt directly on the sore. It will sting, then relief from the pain, the sore is pain free in a couple of days. If you feel an out break coming apply salt before the out break to the hot spot, you may prevent the out break. This information is from many years of having out breaks which I no longer have.

They have to run their course....like a cold. There is no cure, but they should heal in about a week. The only thing you can do is try to minimize the pain. Use Orabase....not Orajel. Orabase creates a film around the sore and eases the pain.

Rinse the sore in your mouth with milk of magnesia, it takes away the pain, at least.
