What a long strange trip it's been.

I'm usually a pretty optimistic person, but I really don't like this statement. I don't want to go to hell, and I definitely don't want to get there in a bucket. For sure I wouldn't enjoy that ride one bit.

I would like to revise that statement to "I'm going to hell in a bucket, but I'm gonna find a way to get out of that bucket before it gets there. And then I'll really enjoy the walk back!" Ha ha! Yeah, that's much better. Maybe not as poetic, but I like it more.

I hope the Grateful Dead don't get mad at me...

I thought the original statement was " going to hell in a hen basket". Does it really matter how you get to hell, it's a hell of a place to be.

Well, if all else is failing miserably, at least there is a bright side.
