Everyhting was good in freshman year. We started to go out in March and continued into the summer. The friends she had then were awesome and they liked me and I liked them. They were so much fun to be around. We saw eachother 3-4 times a week and everyhting was great. Yet once sports started up in the new school year she started to get a new group of friends. Friends much "cooler". I talked to some of them and they knew me but its started to go down hill. Shes ditched her old friends, shes starting to drink with the new ones (and she knows i dont like that), and shes hanging out with her new friends mroe then me now(since they are like SCREW BOYS!). It's christmas break and we haven't even talked about hanging out or anything. She gets mad at me when i talk about this subject to her and now she feels distant and i dont know what to do. She thinks everyhtings okay but to me she doesn't seem the same. Yet she said when she doesn't see me after school it feels like shes missing something.

I'm not sure if anyone has already done this, but wouldn't it be appropriate if somebody edited the Bible to be more appropriate for today's society?
Not only could it be made more politically correct (removal of thumbs-up towards racism, misogyny, homophobia and slavery) but someone could censor it a bit so it's more family friendly.

What do you say? (Note: the correct way to say that as opposed to "what say you?")

With the primaries a short time away, I'm curious to see who everyone wants to vote for. Please tell us who your pick is and why. Obama is my pick because I believe that his vision for change and experiences in community service will be a big benefit to everyone, not just the elite.

Please no inflammatory comments, I just want to find out who you think should be elected. Thanks for your input!

I'm really struggling on this one...

If anyone could tell me what the meaning of life is then I'd be ever so grateful. :)

The furthest I have got is the integer 42 but that doesn't seem to tell me anything.

This was a quote someone said to me once when I was starting to doubt my spiritual abilities and it struck very true with me, it ticked all the right boxes.
Has anyone else ever heard a quote that really 'spoke to them' and what are your opinions on the one above?
Blessings

I've lived in the border all of my life. Sometimes I travel on the American airport and sometimes I travel on the Mexican airport. Ever since I was a boy I remember the airplane ALWAYS being late on the American size, and the plane always being on time in Mexico. It was no surprise to me when I was a teen when Aeromexico was declared the most punctual airline in the planet, it has been that way for over a decade.
The other day I was on the American airport, the plane was delayed as ALWAYS, so I mentioned how this wouldn't happen if we had taken the plane on the Mexican side.
I was surprised people didn't know airplanes in Mexico always land the minute they say they will.

All anyone has to do is to type "Aeromexico" and "punctual" on any search engine to see the hundreds of articles about the most punctual airline in the planet.

I just found out most people don't know this,

Why is this not common knowledge?

represent Chirst? I have a coworker who is freaking out over the fact that everything in stores say "holiday" instead of Christmas (decorations). I'm just curious if it bothers anyone else and why? What do plastic trees and colored lights have to do with anything holy?

Do you have to really kill the poor sheep just to make a pair of UGG boots?

The answer is YES. The sheep has to be slaughted to obtain their hide and fleece. Now once the sheepskin hides are taken from the sheep then the process of preparing the hide for manufacturers and ensuring the hides are up to export standard begins.

Woolskins are usually preserved with salt prior to being processed by tanneries. At the tannery the skins are processed in large vessels called paddles which vary in capacity from 3000 to 15000 litres. In contrast to hide processing, in woolskin processing mechanical action is kept to a minimum in order to minimise felting of the wool. Rotating blades on the paddles move the skins slowly and gently, and processing is performed at much higher float ratios (typically 20-35 litres of water per skin) than are used in hide processing.

Typically it takes about 10 working days for the skins to be tanned and finished ready to be cut into panels for ugg boots.
