Britney's britney, okay blame show biz if you want.
But now her little sister Jamie Lynn is knocked up at 16!!!
Is this also being famous' fault, or should some parents just not be parents?

This is the celebrities section, Daisy, of course the Spears name is gonna be in here.
"genocide at Dafur."
???
Go to N&E or P&G catagories if that's what you want to ask and answer about.

The parents certainly should take their share of blame for Britney, but Jamie Lynn? She's old enough to know what she was doing, but where were her parents when she was out drinking, doping and getting pregnant? What a terribly screwed up family, one that has lived high on the earnings of their oldest, screwed up daughter. And who will pay the price for this? Two children of Britney, and one to come for Jamie Lynn. What an awful shame for those helpless kids.

I'm all for personal accountability. Just because a man is abused or watches his mother be beaten all his life is not a reason for him to grow up to be a wifebeater himself. A person still has to know "right from wrong"-but what is sadder is that parents pimp out their kids, teenagers end up pregnant (or worse) and yet people still advocate for the "do what makes you feel good" attitude, while our society continues the downhill slide. For some, the lines between right and wrong are so blurry, they can make excuses for everything. We live in the greatest country in the world, yet an irresponsible 16 year old is publicized or even glamorized, while the majority of people have no idea who their local politicians are. Can't name their local congressmen, but immediately know and recognize the "spears" name.
I'd be mortified if my daughter's were known as the poster girls for irresponsibility-but if I was the best mom that I could be, I don't think I'd take the blame for it. I wish people weren't interested in this kind of thing, and more interested in the genocide at Dafur.

No, as people as kids as adults as teenagers we make our own choices, no matter how well we were raised, I made bad choices and I was raised in a very good home. Can you be blamed for someone elses actions? No, you are responsible for your decisions. Does that mean that parents do a great job all the time, no. Some parents are terrible parents but their kids make great choices, and are better people for it.
At some point you have to decide what you are going to be or do, and though that decision is a hard one, at timesit is still your and no one elses.

What kind of mother will let a 16 year old girl live with her boyfriend who is 19 ? Yes, I think its the mothers fault. At least she could have warned her about the consequences. &If they want privacy for Jamie why are they having interviews ?

The only thing you can blame the parents for is letting their 16 year old daughter live with her 19 year old boyfriend.
The average teenager loses their virginity at 16. I lost mine at 16. BFD.
They say she needs to learn how to use birth control.
BIRTH CONTROL IS NOT 100% EFFECTIVE!!!

i think of a great style of the faults is the media. in spite of the shown fact that, she needs to get help, positioned herself jointly, quit making an *** out of herself and take responsiblility for her babies. i asked the comparable question some days in the past. her babies come above herself, her occupation, the partying and the boys she is excellent around with. and that i in my view think of she had those teenagers to maintain ok-Fed and it didnt artwork, so now she is depressed. she desires holiday of the spotlight simply by fact its no longer something yet detrimental for her. if she needs to stay a respectable semi-regularly occurring existence, she needs to help herself. sorry, yet her partying w/o undies, understanding she may be photographed is disgusting. noone needs to confirm that or cares. that became her decision. it became her option to no longer be abode together with her babies and do all of those stupid issues.

Isn't Jamie a Nickelodeon actress?
I believe she should be fired because LOTS of little girls idolize her, and she's supposed to be a role model, whether she likes it or not. I can see it now.
"Mom, I'm pregnant"
"WHY are you having sex?"
"Jamie Lynn Spears did it!"

They should be blamed for not stepping in and trying to help their kids. I see them just rolling in their money and letting them do whatever the hell they want, and look where it has gotten them. I just think the parents should have stepped in a long time ago.

They should be, and Britney should be too. Britney didn' set and example, and her parents didn't step in hard enough, apparently.
