Heard on the radio about the tooth fairy digging into his wallet in the dark and leaving a $20 under a pillow.

That's going to get expensive. The lucky kid is not an only child.

YES, I DID!! Now I am kicking myself. We allowed our older son to go to Germany last year with the pretense that he would pay for a third of the trip which he did over the remaining four months before the send off. Now, our younger some wants to go but is unemployed but swears he will pay us his third before he leaves. Problem is, we have to commit before Jan 8th and that means we will be stuck paying the entire amount an the other kids below him wanting to do the same. I say "no job...no go" but dad wants him to get the opportunity.

Sandy :O)

Just the opposite. The kids in the neighborhood despise me for making a D on the report card worthy restriction until the next report card is issued.

Must be a grandchild. I do the same thing. I think, if I remember right with my boys they got $5. I am as guilty as the rest of spoiling my kids and my granddaughter. BUT...if they didn't appreciate it, or didn't deserve it I definatley would not do it!!!!

Bill Clinton.

Oh, "precedents"? No, sorry... misinterpreted the question.

But, on that note, I guess you could say Hillary Clinton...
