{{{{flashing}}} Christmas lights- do you have them outside or live across the street from this distraction?

OMG. Yes. My across-the-street neighbors have big, dinner-plate sized flashing snowflakes all over their house. They shine and twinkle relentlessly into our windows.

I'm usually the one doing the distracting. We live in a 3 story, and we had icicle lights all over the roof, the small overhanging porch roof, the wishing well, down the railings, lights around the living room window, "marquee" lights around the door (they flash in different sequences), and to top it all off, plain bulbs on top of the railings (where icicles are hanging down), AND 2 trees full of lights.

but this year, no lights. but my neigbhours across the way are doing a good job of being mistaken for a runway!

i hate really garish flashing lights that are all colours and flash at random times to the other lights! The just clash! We have one set of tasteful lights that twinkle in a downwards direction. perfect.

I have one small oak tree I used a small amount of blinking lights in good taste and on a timer so not to stay on all night.

Do not have them outside.
My son has flashing lights on his little tree in his room.
Some flashing lights are nice.
I guess to each his own.

NO... THANK GOD!!!!! The lights on my tree do not flash and we have no lights outside... just garland and wreaths and bows. Oh... and lots and lots of SNOW!!!! :) Natures best holiday decoration
