Setting myself for a lot of attacks here but:
Why is it that every Ivy league school plus U of Chicago, Stanford Cal, etc. are in blue states? LA, NY and Chitown are in blue states? I won't get into the culture issue, either. I don't want to get into Dem vs. GOP here b/c I actually consider myself a fiscal Republican and a social Dem. But looking at the blue and red map is kind of telling. I won't name specific states but... is the rest of the country pointing their finger in their general direction and weakly asking, "Come on! I mean, really?"

Multiple feminists stated that they are, so I went to Google Books, selected the first pre-second-wave-feminist history book that I came upon (which was from 1919) and randomly selected a page. That page highlighted an entertainment business run by a woman (one Mrs. Wright) in the early 18th century. So what's up with that? Well, I already explain it in the question. I used quite well the custom content and I even could make some on my own. But when I installed the Pets, they just disappeared. My custom content is still threre, but the other is gone. I checked the Downloads folder in My Documents/EA GAMES/The Sims 2/Downloads and they were all still there but this makes the whole thing even stranger. Please help me. And don't try to be funny or something by giving an answer like: "I don't know. Just give me the 10 points" It's lame.

December 5, 2007, the National Center for Health Statistics released preliminary 2006 birth data, and highlighted the fact that FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 15 YEARS, the teen birth rate has increased. The rate rose from 40.5 births per 1,000 females aged 15-19 in 2005 to 41.9 births per 1,000 in 2006--a 3 percent increase.

• The United States has the highest teen pregnancy rate in the western world, despite the fact that our teens are not more sexually active than Swedish teens, or Canadian teens, or British teens.

• Educating teenagers about contraception makes them more likely to use contraception when they begin having sex, but it doesn't lower the age at first intercourse.

• One million teens in the USA will become pregnant over the next twelve months. Ninety-five percent of those pregnancies are unintended.

My wife drove the car to work with no problem today, she goes to start it back up and leave and it has no power steering. I checked the fluid and it was empty so I filled it up and it just leaks right out on the passenger side. It looks like it is leaking from above and coating the suspension parts on the passenger side and then dripping to the ground. does not appear to be coming from the suspension. Any ideas?

I work for a towing company that has a Clients vehicle here being stored due to an accident and until the Insurance company desides what to do with it.

The Client called, saying he's wanting to pick up the vehicle & the Insurance co will pay for it...."Fine, but we need to receive payment from them before we can release it" Client is okay with that..... Insurance company calls me up & demanding me to release it & then they'll send check. I tried to explain to her our policy while she's accusing me all we want is to collect storage money, and also she said to me, " If we feel comfortable letting the client sleep out in the street cause he lives inside the vehicle cause we want storage money"

What the heck??? I'm going to contact her supervisor letting him know how rude & disrespecting she was. Are there any legal terms I can use on expressing her behavior? Help!!

Social Security

After retiring, I went to the Social Security office to apply for Social Security. The woman behind the counter asked me for my driver's license to verify my age. I looked in my pockets and realized I had left my wallet at home. I told the woman that I was very sorry, but I would have to go home and come back later.

The woman said 'Unbutton your shirt.'


So I opened my shirt revealing my curly silver hair. She said 'That silver hair on your chest is proof enough for me' and she processed my Social Security application.


When I got home, I excitedly told my wife about my experience at the Social Security office.


She said, 'You should have dropped your pants... you might have gotten disability, too.'
