I Don't Know About the Cleverest, But Certainly The Most Unexpected And Scariest Was 'The Believers' With Martin Sheen. - Still Gives Me Goosebumps.
I LIKED The OTHERS And 6th Sense BUT, I Figured Out BOTH Midway Through The Movie. As Well As The VILLAGE
Another Movie With A Clever Twist Is ANGEL HEART

With all due respect to "The Usual Suspects" and "Mullholland Drive" (great films with great twists) my vote goes to "The Kremlin Letter". If you don't mind watching a movie that's more than a few years old, I think you'll find that this movie has so many twists that the final one catches you completely by surprise.
Am I the only one who thought that "The Sixth Sense" and "The Skeleton Key" telegraphed their endings?
