You're both right. It's delicious but was dry. I won't tell mom that though, I don't want to hurt her feelings. She sends me stuff like this quite often. God bless her. LOL.

Noramlly i don't ever get to eat what she sends me because my rugrats beat me to it. They seem to like it though.

They have really famous cheesecake, but to be honest, I've had better - I've made better. The one I bought from them once was a bit crusty on top, a bit dry, and very overly priced.
The actual flavor was pretty good, but the other qualities made me not want to buy another.
Many people swear by them, but I can get better in the grocery store.

Just yesterday I saw a Bobby Flay Throw down on the Food Network. It was at Junior's. The cheesecake looked wonderful. I like plain cheesecake. Nothing on it. Maybe the ones your mom sends you drys out on route.

I have eaten at Junior's and their desserts are just okay. I am not a big fan of cheesecake, but I will admit, I tired a bit at The Cheesecake Factory - theirs was way much better than Junior's. There's one located in Westchester, I think if you try it you'd like it, plus their menu is great!

I love Junior's--it's famous for its cheesecake, but they do have restaurants.
The original is located in Brooklyn and they have locations in Grand Central and one in Times Square (this one has a restaurant too).
I think their cheesecake is delicious. I love their tiramisu cheesecake.

The original cheese cake is excellent, the other varieties/flavors are nothing special.
I've had the cheese cake shipped to me in New Hampshire and I've been to their restaurants in NYC.
