I've never really thought of it because I've always lived in the state I worked in. I know someone looking to move to Portland,OR (where they have a huge income tax but no sales tax). Vancouver, WA is only a 15 minute drive away, so she's thinking of moving there (where there is no income tax and a huge sales tax). Will she pay income tax to Oregon because she'll work there or will she be spared because she'll live in Washington?

My 2nd block class is a study hall. The students never listen to the teacher or do their work.

Today(well, not just today) they were talking about these videos and pictures online, where people torture or kill themselves or other people and animals, even babies. They went onto a website to look at these and they kept laughing at a video they described as someone jumping off a building and laughing at how grotesquely they died. I don't want to hear how they beat their dog with the butt of a rifle, or how these other people tortured a cat. I can't eat lunch after that class, it's disgusting. That website should be blocked, and these students really scare me.

Should I report these students? What we even be done about it? It isn't like they are harrassing someone or stealing.

I prefer them without tattoos, I just like the natural skin look instead of permanent markings. I think tramp stamps are way over played. Nothing says I conform than a tramp stamp.

I just got over a sore throat about a week ago and now my throat is sore again.My mom claims that I probably need my tonsils removed.I told her I dont think thats true.We are having a big disagreement about this.Does anybody know why I got a sore throat again after just getting over one?Do I need my tonsils removed?Im 23 years old

9 kids in my family are adopted. and 6 are my dad's kids and 3 my step mom's kids (yes, there are 18 of us). but i have 3 little brothers ages 6, 7, and 8 who are always together (we call them the triplets). i know 2 of them are adopted, and 1 is my dad's biological, but i can't for the life of me remember which ones and whatnot. i don't want to ask and appear to be stupid. help. i feel horrible that i can't remember.i'm one of the 9 adopted ones. i'm 17 and was adopted at 11. so if we're talking blood sibs, none of the 17 i have now are related to me. but yeah, i treat all sibs (dad's bio, adopted, step) the same, but idk........ i just feel bad i can't remember.

...and there's condiments and such inside, do you automatically assume they are for the employees to use or do you ask if they belong to anyone? The reason I ask is because I just went into the break room to refill my ice and caught a relatively new employee using my Parmesan cheese. I told him that it was actually mine and he apologized and said he thought it was for everyone to use. I told him it was fine, but if he wasn't sure to just ask. For me, it wasn't a big deal, but the principle of the matter. Okay, so if you were him, what would you have thought?

Last night I was filling my car's tank at the gas station, and it was cold out, so I sat in my car with the door open as it was fueling, watching the gas meter. My car normally takes around 13.5 gallons, and when I saw the numbers hit 14, I jumped out to see gas pouring out of my tank. Never had this happen in my life. I immediately went into the attached convenience store to tell them a half gallon of gas was sitting in a large puddle by their pumps, and asked if they had sand or something since it was obviously a hazard. The old, crochety woman's only comment was "weren't you manning the pump?? These old pumps tend to do that!" I stared at her and again said, "regardless, there's a large puddle of gas by your pumps and it could be very dangerous, I'm letting you know so you can call someone or put something on it!" She gave me a dirty look, ignored me and went to the next customer. I kid you not.
I ended up trying to warn people away, and was told to just let it evaporate.

I do believe that many of the names in the Mitchell report has done some type of performance enhancing substance, and, indeed, at least, a couple of them (Petitte and Roberts) have admitted some truth to the report (though not all). I think the investigation was necessary for the good of baseball.

However, I have such a deep distrust in politicians and lawyers (and Mitchell is both) who are highly skilled in presenting any information to the public as the "truth"(regardless of whether it is or not), that I have a hard time believing that there was no other ulterior motive or "fishiness" to this report.

I think Mitchell was a very bad choice by MLB/Selig (dumbass!) to conduct this investigation, not only because he is a politician and lawyer, but because he is now going back to work for the Red Sox! Hmmmm, can you say "conflict of interest"?

BTW, Mitchell received a 2004 WS ring from the Red Sox.

If we are imperfect, then we can not be created by a perfect being. If we are created by god, then he is not perfect. If he is perfect then he did not create us.

Don't say "free will" because with or without we are still clearly imperfect and therefore it is not possible for a perfect being to have created us. Try to have an open mind and it will become quite clear. Otherwise you may as well believe in Santa and the Easter Bunny as it is impossible to prove they don't exist either.

Simple logic.
