9 kids in my family are adopted. and 6 are my dad's kids and 3 my step mom's kids (yes, there are 18 of us). but i have 3 little brothers ages 6, 7, and 8 who are always together (we call them the triplets). i know 2 of them are adopted, and 1 is my dad's biological, but i can't for the life of me remember which ones and whatnot. i don't want to ask and appear to be stupid. help. i feel horrible that i can't remember.i'm one of the 9 adopted ones. i'm 17 and was adopted at 11. so if we're talking blood sibs, none of the 17 i have now are related to me. but yeah, i treat all sibs (dad's bio, adopted, step) the same, but idk........ i just feel bad i can't remember.

It's actually pretty sweet that you can't remember because it's just not that big a deal to you. If you feel bad that you can't remember just take your father aside and tell him you feel sorta silly but you can't remember which children were adopted and which ones are biological. Be honest that you never think about it because they are just all your siblings.

I don't see why it should matter if family members are adopted or born into the family you are all family and you all love each other that's what's important. I bet holidays are a blast with that many brothers and sisters!

All the better, that way you treat them all the same. We can't help you on this one, but you sound like one BIG happy family!

I wouldn't worry about it. They're all your brothers, regardless of how it happened, right? Just ask them. I don't think anyone will get offended by it.

No thats great. It means that you see them as your brothers and you view them as your family nothing more.
