An industrial movie is one meant to be viewed by people involved with a particular group and is not meant to be viewed by the public.
An example would be a training film for new hires at a factory so show them how to do their jobs.
Or another example might be a documentary about the history of an industry or a particular company meant to shown to, say, potential investors.
Those movies you saw in the third grade about how birds hatch from eggs, and how the pyramids were built, were industrial films.
So the subject can be anything, it's the intended audience that distinguishes industrial films.
