i want to adopt an animal for several friends but it comes out a bit pricey. does anyone know of any foundation or group that takes ten dollars, perhaps?

By that time game developers will have the PS3 figured out and will be taking full advantage of the bluray discs. How will the Xbox compete in terms of length of the game and graphics if they are still stuck on dual layer dvds? I am trying to decide between buying an Xbox or a PS3, and as of now I'm leaning towards an Xbox because of the better games, but I'm trying to think ahead and I think PS3 will be creating much better games in the future with better graphics and much larger games. What do you think?

I have had this ache on one side of my abdomen starting mid-day today. It's not super painful, but when I walk around I can feel it. My mom said she had mittelschmerz when she was younger so maybe it is that? The ache is mainly below my waist line so I don't think it's appendicitis or anything like that. I have no fever and no other symptoms besides a slight back ache. It's been 14 days since my last period. Does this just sound like ovulation pain?

Is it ultimately the mother's fault, because of perhaps the way she was raised as a child herself or perhaps she didn't do the best job she could as a mother?
I can see that there is obviously something wrong with what I asked above, that it's women who should get the blame for a crime their child commits but my point is, why is it always the mother who is blamed?
I wouldn't go as far as saying that it's the fathers fault as well in the name of equality because nowadays men are more involved in child rearing, but why is the grown up child not held solely accountable for their own misdeeds?
Are mothers today being made scapegoats for all of societies ills, besides feminists?

I need a humorous play or other dialogue for two people for our school's speech club. We're both middle school guys, so something geared toward that age group (and gender) would be good. What's a word (a noun I think) that refers to a project or activity that at first sounds like an easy, quick thing, but then quickly turns into something that sucks up all the resources (and people's time) around it?

Like it's a black hole for resources...like something that would be used to describe projects like the Big Dig that just keep going more and more over budget and further and further past deadline, but require more and more man power.

A photographer for a national magazine was assigned to take pictures of a great forest fire. He was advised that a small plane would be waiting to fly him over the fire.

The photographer arrived at the airstrip just an hour before sundown. Sure enough, a small Cessna airplane was waiting. He jumped in with his equipment and shouted, "Let's go!" The tense man sitting in the pilot's seat swung the plane into the wind and soon they were in the air, though flying erratically.
