It's like this. We learn stuff so when we hitch a ride on another body our eternal "soul" or energy already has experienced certain things and doesn't need to experience them again. We apply it to our next Body Ride. Enjoy your trip.

If we don't use what we learned here, we'll all use it in Heaven when we get there. Yes, even people who believe in reincarnation (I am one) will be going to Heaven ... we ALL will be going to Heaven in the end. I'm a Catholic Christian, too, but my 'mind' goes outside my religion and I truly believe this will be found to be true in the end ... and I'll love finding out the 'rest of the story' when we're there!

It's not about using the things that you learn...it is having those experiences in order to have a full understanding of life, reality, and existence as a whole, due to having learned of many of its different facets, with a variety of different perspectives. Upon attaining all of this knowledge, these realizations, you should be able to transcend what we call reality, knowing the true nature of it, and thus fully capable of slipping through it...and thus attain Nirvana.
