I am making Pomanders, the kind where you cover oranges with whole cloves. I have read that to preserve them, you need to shake them in a bag with Orris Root (and cinnamon and nutmeg powder for added scent). I was wondering if there are other herbs or extracts or spices that you can use to preserve them. I want them to last a long time as it is a lot of work to cover the oranges in cloves and I would like to enjoy the beauty and aroma as long as possible.

I am a 32 year old mother of 3. I was married to a man that really truely destroyed my selfesteem. I had gained weight during our marriage and he continued to belittle me and honestly still tries.

Now divorced 3 years, I am yet to find a man to love since. I often wonder if I will ever find love again and I am so scared that if I do he will be like my husband was. I have dated men but I can't seem to find 'the one'.

Everytime I date someone and I see any red flag my feelings just turn off... like a light. I can't even see past and litterally get irritated by them if I try to look past it. I can't stand that I am judging people but I want to be happy.

How do I get past my fears and my insecurities to find love and happiness again? Will I be like this forever? Is there any man out there that will see past my plus size and see my heart? I know I have to be happy with myself 1st but I don't think that will

What is the surgery and recovery like? What does the scarring look like? Are you happy? Please post your personal expierences. Thanks. Also not to sound rude but if you don't have breast implants, you're not a surgeon or you haven't researched about them, don't answer. I don't know when Bangladesh started playing one day cricket but I remember once seeing their one day game against Pakistan in 1997 and they displayed extremely poor performance and were all out for 134 only.

10 years later in 2007, they are still pretty much the same and continue to lose heavily against almost any test cricket nation.

They went on a tour of newzealand few year back in 2003 or 2004 and the result was disasterous. The tests were over even before 3 days.

My question is that since its been at least 10 years they've played one day cricket, why they continue being so weak?

In the subcontinent all neighboring bangladesh countries play good cricket -- India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Then why Bangladesh still left behind?

I am a veteran of many unfortunate circumstances due to two,esp. one particuliar individual throughout my lifetime. Way too much to type up here and post.
I ask those who have prayed and seen anything close to miraculous of releasing evil from any person who causes harm/and then were fortunate and blessed w/results of the Holy Spirit {Universal Spirit of Love}.
I {well we actually} need a miracle for Christmas.

I am applying for residency permit in germany and I need to get a (Verpflichtungserklärung) how do i get it?
What is a (Verpflichtungserklärung) ?
I am looking for admission into the UNI at Munich and after hypothetically I get there and get accepted, I am supposed to apply for a residency permit but one of the requisites as per the university's webpage which is:

is that you have to supply proof of financial support:

through either:
a)scholarship or grant
b) a bank statement with enough for one year minimum(around 7000 euros i think)
or c) Verpflichtungserklärung
Since I dont have either options a) or b).
I can only try option c).
How do I get a Verpflichtungserklärung?

What we can conclude:
not stoning your children to death for rebellion is disobedience and sin against God

My suggestions:
I suggest you rethink your morals, and the next time your kids are rebellious, take them to your oldest Church members and have them slaughtered like impure and wicked humans they are, for the glory of god – If you don't do this then you are no better than your son, and a hypocrite


This is of course a better solution than the wickedness in todays society, where parents only ground their kids, whoop them or have them learn from their own mistakes
of course, what the hell are we thinking turning our backs on god like this, he was right all along

I have a 6 month old pup that needs to be put down (distemper),even with his vaccine he caught it.Problem is that I did my damnedest to get him well,and now that I got him thru it,I now have a pup that is crippled,has seziures,and has to be feed with a syringe.I feel all I did was make his & my life worse.My head wants to let him go,but the heart don't.I am now at a crossroad and don't know where to turn.I can't help but ask myself,what if this was one of your human kids?would you put them down?My question to you is,Do I follow my head?or follow my heart?

Hi, My staffie is mostly really well behaved, she is very protective of me most of the time. There is a co-dependency problem....
When my dad, or Bf or friends give me a cuddle, she barks, and barks.
How can I stop this, at this time of year everyone is hugging, and shes NOT happy when people touch me.
(forgot to deal with this at training, I guess it never came up at the time, probably because I didnt hug the trainer..! Any help would be apprieciated.
