What is the surgery and recovery like? What does the scarring look like? Are you happy? Please post your personal expierences. Thanks. Also not to sound rude but if you don't have breast implants, you're not a surgeon or you haven't researched about them, don't answer. I've posted this question before and all I did was get blasted with people saying their opinions and what they think and that they looked horrible. So please only answer if you know from expierence. Thanks again.

That's what I tried to say. Breast implants only look horrible when they're done wrong or they're new and whatnot. Botched breast implants get more media coverage than the fantastic looking implants I've seen.

I'm a C cup and I'm tall so breast implants will feel mostly if not completely natural on me. My breasts sag from weight loss (they sagged anyway because they're heavy) and I'm way too young to have such horrid breasts. I'm not spending my entire youth not being able to wear bathing suits or tank tops and having to wear bras 24/7. Guys may say they don't like implants but deep down, they just want a girl who looks good so they can brag and show her off. Face it. If a guy had to choose between the body of Pam Anderson from Baywatch or Kiera Knightley, they'd pick the busty blonde Pam.

Most of the guys that I know that know women who have had implants say they all feel fake and unnatural. They may LOOK great, but when they touch them its a real turn off. Many guys love "just a mouthful".

Also please please do your research on implants. Talk to at least three plastic surgeons, ask TONS of questions, make sure you look at the before/after pictures.

Check out this site as well. It has an excellent FAQ and support board for you to discuss it with those who have gone through it (or gotten it reversed).

I also do recommend you do not go bigger than what is proportional to your body. IMO bigger than C's should be a no no. Anyone who has breasts bigger than their body proportions look nasty and are begging for back pain.

Also, here is another good site to find PS's in your area.

I got implants about 2 years ago and I LOVE them!!! (Hubby does too :) I had an awesome doctor in San Diego who was well known for doing implants. If you check various doctors' before & after photos, you'll see there is a big difference in skill level of the doctors.

The surgery was an hour and a half I think (I was out of course). It hurt for 2 or 3 days. I had to take Percocet round the clock every 4 hours, including at night, but that made 100% of the pain go away. In fact, it hid the pain so well that the first night I thought I didn't have any pain so I quit taking them. BIG mistake!! Don't do that!! It's easier to stay ahead of the pain than to catch up later.

I had the surgery on a Thursday morning and went back to work on Monday 4 days later. (I'm a teacher so my work is somewhat physical with walking around and such).

There is NO scar!!! My doctor did the "10 O'clock, 3 O'clock" incision on the lower nipple. I don't know if he was that good, or what, but within a few weeks the faint line was barely visible and by a few months it was completely gone.

My breasts are large but I specifically asked for "natural hang" because I didn't want the round ball like stripper look, so mine actually look natural even though they're large. I was an A before surgery.

For months I was walking on a cloud, I was so happy!!! Even now, I love them and having large breasts made me feel like a complete woman, which I never felt like before.

You should know that immediately after surgery, they sit high because they're swollen. The size doesn't change, but it takes a few months for them to ''settle'' down into the place they'll end up. Lots of times the "fake" looking ones have just been done. I was told it can take up to a year for them to settle, but mine only took 6 months. The inciscion itself was VERY sensitive for a month. I could only wear soft cotton shirts because anything else bugged me. They also will be harder right after surgery than they will later. As the swelling goes down they get softer and softer.

They DON'T look horrible - They look BEAUTIFUL!!! It just depends on your doctor. Most of the time you only hear the few who didn't have a good experience, and you don't hear from the vast majority who have. You can email me if you have any questions.

hi there, don;t let anyone tell you what to do, make your own mind up. i had breast implants, i was an a cup on one side and a b on the other, so i got some covered by medi-care. 1st time round i went to a c cup, after about 4 months i got capsular contracture (its like a hardening of the scar tissue) and had to go back and have it fixed, so i decided to go to a DD ( they don't look that big though). the 1st time round the most uncomfortable part is that your chest is REALLY tight from the muscles etc being stretched so much, but i was driving within 10 days but you can't ;ift your arms higher than your shoulders for around 6 weeks. the 2nd time its was the cuts that were really sore, took them longer to heal the 2nd time. i had implants put under the muscle (this takes longer to heal but a better way to go i beleive). i had the cuts under my breast and though the scars are still very obvious (its been 6 months) i would say that it was worth it. i love my new boobs and my confidense in my self has improved heaps. you will get many people judging you for this but remember in the end it only matters how you feel. good luck, i hope this was helpful
