It sucks, huh.

The killing of dolphins is (to me) one step below killing the next highest life form (humans).... this is a political battle and is therefore not at all easy to understand.

Maybe Japan will stop killing the dolphins when the US gets rid of the death penalty.

I mean, which is worse? Killing a few marine creatures or state sanctioned murder?

And why, just out of interest, is it the USA's right to get other sovereign nations to change their laws and customs?

By the way, I don't really agree with the killing of dolphins. I just think the question smacks of arrogance and hypocrisy.

The same reason we cant keep our textile, steel and auto industries. People will buy crap if it is two cents cheaper... When was the last time you checked a product to see where it was made ? And put the made in china jeans back and picked up a made in USA or made in Mexico pair ? If all you bleeding hearts would simply stop buying any product made in Japan until they stopped they would stop. But you come on here type on your made in Japan computer, drive your made in Japan car and say boo hoo why cant we get Japs to stop killing dolphins.

I know, their waters are literally RED from all the blood from dolphins and whales!
Not many people are doing anything about it.
I'm from Australia by the way, but i think the USA is strong enough.

I don't condone the killing of dolphins and marine creatures. However, in all honesty I don't think the United States really cares. We have bigger fish to fry, no pun intended. I think we ought to focus our efforts on human life first. How about stopping all that lead poisining **** from China would be a great start.

Well beleive me when i say, no dolphins should be killed...but all animals feel....so how is ok to kill a cow, but not a dolphin?...
Because your mom says its ok?....
I am a vegetarian, i don't beleive that we need to survive on flesh of any kind....
So yes, stop the killing of the innocent dolphins, as well as the cows, chickens, pigs, fish, etc......

I don't think that is a good idea for other countries to tell each other what to do. I mean Japan is a friendly nation with the US right now . Things like this would strain the relationship we have with them. I think the best to do is for the people to right a polite letter of protest to the Japanese government. I think that would work better.
