My son and his wife, married 2 years, have new computers, big screen TV, new car, etc, all of which they probably bought on credit which has left them with no money for Christmas presents. The past year, I gave him money to pay for extensive dental work as he could not afford to have it done otherwise. I also gave them generous gifts of money on every occasion, and now for Christmas I have done the same. They gave me a card but told me they will not be buying anyone any Christmas gifts as they cannot afford it. I have not let it bother me up til now and I feel kind of petty that it is in the back of my mind that they could get me some little thing. What do you think?

Why is it every time I do a load of laundry it all fits into the basket just fine before I wash and dry it, but then when it comes out of the drier it never all fits in the way it did before? Is there a logical explanation for this or am I just nuts?

i have been having headachs for two weeks stright now on and off, real painful head achs, after i eat i feel like i have gas but dont think i do, i dont keep up with my periods like i should so i donno if i am bout to start it or not? i had never felt like this befor, what could be wrong? i just started back in school could it be stress or somthingdifferent?

I have a 2 year old and a 5 year old. I was in the bathroom and they went to the workout bench and started to attack the cat with the weights. His foot is broken and I am very disturbed. -Started 4-2. Lost every game since.
-Lost Todd Heap, which is the best tight end in the league.
-Lost to Patriots and Dolphins.
- No playing time for the Heisman Winner.
- Lost all Monday and Sunday Night games.

I will always stand by them but this is a rough path.

Im 15 and my friend's friend is having a party but my mom wont let me go. There is not going to be any drinking, drugs, or smoking and the parents are going to be there. She said if i go that she would have to drive me there and talk to the parents and i said i dont want to do that because i was going to carpool with my friend and if she talks to the parents, im gonna be the only one there with a parent and it would be imbarassing. gah i dont know what to do.

I am currently at a crossroads in my career. I'm attempting to figure out whether or not to pursue teaching English at the Community College level or to obtain a credential and teach at the high school level. I'm aware of the working conditions for each, but my questions primarily cover two areas:

1) How much do adjunct professors typically make (in California) to maintain a living. Do they sometimes work at two different schools simultaneously?
2) Is there much opportunity to move up from an adjunct position to a full-time position? If so, what types of salaried positions to full-time community college faculty members make?
3) Financially speaking, in your opinion, would it be worth it to pursue a career at the community college level or at the high school level.
