can someone please tell me the benefits of VLANs in Intranets and Extranets? thanks ^__^

My ring needs resized and I want a different style, and my husband's also needs to be made a smaller size. But we have in all five gold rings, three 10 carat and two 14 carat. Our local jeweler would only offer $50-75 for the whole lot. That seems extremely low to me. I'd like to get at least half our money back so that we can just buy my other ring and resize his. Is there any place that would buy them higher or am I stuck with that? Also, what are the chances of me getting a good deal on just like a trade, and have them redesign my current band? (a good deal meaning they take the other rings for most of the payment)

My mom would have never made me do a girly chore. I took out the trash, mowed the lawn and things such as that. It burns me up to see these women nowadays emasculating our male youth. When I was married, I would never allow my step-son to do dishes, laundry or anything girly like that. I told him as far as cooking and dishes go, those are jobs for girls, maids, and dishwashers. My step-son did chores like trash detail, lawn mowing and polishing cars. My step daughter did dishes, laundry and helped her mom cook.

I have been in a serious relationship for 5 years. I have started to put pressure under him to talk about our future, marriage, buying a house & kids. He blatantly told me he is not ready for marriage. Why can't I just be satisfied with our situation now? We live together & I do everything for him. I am starting to wonder why I do that if he can't make a more serious commitment at 29 years old. Am I expecting too much or does he want the best of both worlds?

In areas where c section rates are high, does that mean there is a higher rate of live births and healthy babies? There is so much discussion about the possibility of c sections being unnecessary; however, does anyone know of any real statistics? I hear of so many c sections among my friends. I hear their birth stories and they are all similar ... they go into labor, usually drugs are used, and eventually they say the baby is in distress or it's been too much time since the water broke and they need to get the baby out, or there is a failure to progress. What is it? Is it the drugs, are our babies too big, are the doctors being selfish? It is very disconcerting to me because I want to know real facts but there don't seem to be any, just a bunch of theorizing by well meaning people but we as mothers want real facts so we can make the right birthing choices to have healthy babies.

My son's public elementary school is having a book fair all this week. I found a book there called Who is Jesus? When you open it up it tells all about who jesus is from a chrisitians perspective. There were no other books on other religions or religious holidays just the jesus book.

I am interested in purchasing a GPS system for my husband for Christmas, but I don't know that much about them. I have noticed that the TomTom and the Garmin are the best two brands, is this correct? Also, do you have to buy the unit and pay a monthly charge to use it like satellite radio? Or is it....you buy the unit and that's all?
